Overcoming the impracticality of electric vehicles (EVs) appears to be as big a marketing challenge as convincing diners that plant-based burgers are tasty. Yet, those inspired by the “green” demonization of fossil fuels continue to try. (Snip) EV adoption might follow a pattern similar to what happened with plant-based patties at Burger King. Initially, a group of enthusiastic customers chose the plant-based Whoppers over a meat version because cattle are a purported cause of climate change and eating meat is said to be “unhealthy.” Another group of customers thought it was interesting to see if a veggie burger tasted like real beef. Soon, however, demand for the plant-based version fell off drastically. McDonald’s has also experimented with a plant-based burger at some locations but recently abandoned that effort for lack of customer interest.

And eat ze bugs!
Sam Nunn, if you were wondering, was the other.
The elite want to have the run of the planet, literally, not just political power. Everything that is slowly happening to the little people is toward restricting their movement and their access (unless you count virtual access). The loss of liberty was exemplified during covid. You were supposed to stay home and get deliveries, and work and school from home. Now it’s about destroying cheap power because that creates mobility. They wont be happy until everyone is stuck in pods with tubes feeding them and the META universe plugged into their brains.
Turn them into housing for homeless migrants.
Just to keep the record straight, Burger King used to serve a very good vegi Burger based partly on mushrooms and walnuts. I ordered them all the time, and they were delicious, especially with cheese. They dropped this wonderful offering when they introduced the Impossible Burger, which was horrendously, even impossibly bad. It’s a shame if they don’t bring back their original vegi burger menu, but I don’t expect it to happen.
One can eat a veggie burger with no ill effects.
But electric car batteries can blow up at any time!!!!
ever wonder why they are pushing EVs so hard before “green energy” or upgrading the conventional fuel grid?
it feels like the cart before the horse
there is no carbon reduction if EVs are using conventional fuel electricity
and the current grid cannot handle all of the EVs necessary to replace all of the gas cars on the road
but these are not problems
they are part of the plan
if they go “green energy” first
electricity will be so expensive
you could not give away an EV
but they want to get rid of the gas car option
before they go all in on “green energy”
EVs will be your only personal transportation option
and it will be too expensive
wah-la
the masses are on the bus
the rich and powerful will be tooling around in their EVs and gas cars(yes there will be exemptions as usual)
and bonus the elite will no longer have parking problems
Free Republic
the name kinda gives it away
Exactly. That is why it is fine for me to get aggravated by a lot of posters. :)
Why does TexasGator shill for Electric Cars when there is a list as long as your arm not to own one?
He is drinking a beer!!!
“He is drinking a beer”
Bought with the money he saved not having to buy a trailer for his EV generator!
LoL!
I don't like Electronic Vehicles because they are built on a pyramid of lies and cause more harm than good to our culture and society.
We could find one stopped near a swimming pool, push it over there and find out what happens to it in the bottom of the pool.
I was just telling my wife that people would probably need a rider for a battery fire burning the house down.
Ask him?
Maybe he’ll tell you all about 700 and 1400hp electric toy cars that no one can own.
How any article written about kids in Africa, working the lithium and cobalt mines, is nothing but propaganda from Mother Jones and that the mines don’t cause any environmental damage and the pictures of the pools of contaminated water, etc, are all phony.
And a whole bunch of other nonsense. All for an industry that would die on the vine if it were not for government interference and favoritism.
But they are fun.
I’d do a mushroom and walnut burger. Throw the traditional lettuce, tomato and onions on that you get with the Whopper, that would be a good sandwich
This guy may be getting some insurance money as he had several expensive cars submerged.
