My prayers go out to Floridians that they all survive the storm and damage is kept to a minimum.

Let’s run it!!!
lol I jest. I’ve been on that bridge numerous times. Wouldn’t want to be on it right now though.

I used to be very afraid of crossing that bridge, but the nice thing is, if you have an inside lane, you can’t see the edges at all, so don’t notice how high up you are.

I live about 50 miles east of there and that is what it looks like looking out on the lake I live on. It is forecast to come directly over where I live on Thursday morning.

Someone needs to get out there and clean off the water droplet on the lens. It difficult to see.

Agreed. I’ve been over it about 4-5 times and it creeps me out.
To: Red Badger
Wasn’t that a bridge failure in Washington state in the late ‘40’s?

Gallping Gertie was the name. Tacoma Narrows Bridge.
Everyone survived except for a little dog that would not come out of the car.

I’ve only crossed it twice. Once going to Bradenton from St. Pete, and then going back to St. Pete. I was really nervous about it the first time. The second crossing I was a little better.
