lol I jest. I’ve been on that bridge numerous times. Wouldn’t want to be on it right now though.
The original sunshine skyway bridge collapsed in 1980 killing 34 or 35 people if i recall correctly. a ship hit one of the bridge supports and bridge fell into the bay.
We had been across it going to and returning from Sanibel Island a few months earlier, just to say we’d done it. The old bridge was scary.
