An ICE engine and lead acid battery???
Is this possible?

Hard to believe isn't an EV.

EVs can catch fire when not running. That’s the big difference.
Occasionally (also running) diesels will “run away”, more common on mechanical direct injection when a serious faulr develops, but also if they can start slurping up their oil, and the results can be spectacular.
Interestingly, a Lister stationary diesel or any other make and break diesel, is practically immune to running away ... bada*boom*kisk!

The guy is lucky he was only on a test drive. He would have really been pissed if it would have happened after he paid for it and got it home.

What battery did it have?
Oh...inconvenient...

This has nothing to do with the Italian election. But I’m always suspicious of the French.

This model has fuel lines that can dry out and crack. Italian quality.

Here’s one for the Tesla Troll to add to his arsenal of gas car fire images, to be ready to deploy at a moment’s notice.

Sounds like there was a gas leak somewhere. 😋

He’s VERY lucky this happened. Those cars are maintenance NIGHTMARES. The engine out service for timing belt replacements are SUPPOSED to be done yearly, or every 15k miles. (Price $8k when I priced it back in 2000).
Think about that. If nothing else breaks, which is rare, you’re STILL spending $8k a year to keep that POS on the road.
I was glad that I read this before I pulled the trigger in 2000: http://www.nsxfiles.com/f355_update.htm

No it isn’t a EV it’s a old Ferrari with known fire problems.
