From respect to resentment: My history with the CIA The US Central Intelligence Agency recently turned 75. I have my reasons to wish it doesnโ€™t see another birthday

No offense, but I know some about this.

I have seen US domestic surveillance, which is most likely run by CIA, under the guise of a training operation. It has been expanded to a satellite operation in probably 97% of neighborhoods, where local cells “practice” recruiting informant networks. When I put together my website, I got surveillance moved into the house next door, very quickly.

I can tell you, 100%, zero doubt, there is zero chance this surveillance machine, which I see every day, was not all over the 9/11 hijackers, and knew exactly what they were in the country for, and how to stop it. It actively looks for things that are unusual, and has plenty of resources to throw at anything. I get followed on every grocery trip.

Before all is said and done, America is going find out that the biggest effort our NatSec machinery engaged in with respect to 9/11 was quashing the FBI agents who were spurred to frantic action by James Woods.

Somebody in that machinery at least wanted 9/11, and made sure it happened.

Interesting but confusing, esp. Over Iraq.

My son and his squad seized Iraqi bunkers on the East Bank of the Euphrates during Objective Peach and its cleanup patrols. At east one bunker was loaded with Soviet Bloc green CBW suits.

They were not there for Halloween!

50 pounds of Cyanide power were seized elsewhere. That was reported in the news media but I don’t know how widespread it was.

I recall the captured Iraqi Generals after being taken prisoner how mystified that the Americans had overrun their positions and why Iraq had not repelled the attacks with chemicals.

The company is more than 60 years older than his normal taste in girls, no wonder.

And he is on Russia Today since there’s no Iraqi oil vouchers from Khafaji to help him do another documentary, I suppose.

CIA is meddling in Iran right now with the protests.
They are meddling in Armenia.

CIA is the US’s tool and mechanism to instigate regime changes via their BS color revolutions, etc.

Don’t you want Iran to get rid of the Ayatollahs?

I have no opinion on the matter other than the CIA is again meddling in country’s internal affairs (ie.: regime change).

But let me ask you this hypothetical to you:

Would you want Iran, Russia, China, etc. to get rid of BidenIdiot or the next President?

Would you want Mexico to allow Russian or Chinese nukes in your backyard?

Invariably, why are we mucking around in other people’s countries or political affairs but don’t accept or want the same done to us? Hypocrite much? Idiocy much?

You know most of the sh*t we decry, etc. was created by US - the US!?!

While we’re on the subject, how about two of these mass shooters they stopped?

Or would be domestic terrorists, that they didn’t have to entrap first?

Let's examine just how successful the CIA has been. They failed on 9/11/2001 & 9/11/2012.

Claims are made that we only know about the attempts were they failed to protect the U.S., but we never hear about their successes. So, they failed twice and they had an incalculable number of successes. So, how can you be sure that they had any success at all?

We have a southern border that is even less effective than a sieve where who knows is entering this country and what their intentions are. In fact, we are not even sure how many have entered illegally. That furthermore, allows in massive quantities of drugs that kill our citizens, and produce 100s of thousands of non productive beings who present nothing more than threats to productive citizens.

We know for certain that they have too much power, with very little oversight or control. But somehow they should continue to operate because we believe, but can't be certain, that they may have stopped some attacks.

Sorry, but I fail to see any logic, let alone critical thinking that even comes close to justifying their existence. I am unable to even ask you to show me some proof that they are needed, because you admittedly know of nothing due to secrecy.

Oh, and Brian Griffin, classification of documents lies with the president, period. I know that Never-Trumpers like yourself are upset by that fact, but that is the fact nonetheless.

Seriously speaking:

Rule No 1. Never work for the CIA.
Rule No 2. CIA will abandon you.
Rule No 3. It ain’t Spy vs Spy.
Final advice. It may seem exciting to work with THEM. It can be. Due not be seduced by that force, stay in your job... all jobs suck... but the agency may put a hit on you. Stay the Ef away.

The argument you're using is essentially the exact same one as is used by the Defund the Police movement. Because cops fail to prevent a lot of crimes, and because they sometimes engage in abuse, we should eliminate them.

One of the problems with that is that there are many things cops do that have a positive impact even if they don't make headlines. And their mere existence acts as a deterrent as well.

Both the CIA and FBI clearly have major issues with politicization, and need to be cleaned up. But simply eliminating them both is essentially sending an engraved to those who would do us harm that there is nobody left who could possibly detect anything they try to do. It would be like leaving the door to a jewelry store open and unlocked every night.

Fix them. Don't eliminate them.

But the major difference is that I do the the wins that the police departments achieve. Because they do not operate in secrecy. Unfortunately, because the CIA does operate in such secrecy there is no fixing the CIA. You cannot fix what you have no power over.

BTW, they make the same claims that you are making. Many people are no longer buying that scare tactic. Probably because many people are now becoming the target of their secrecy and will not tolerate being labeled the problem, when they are not the problem. Same goes for the FBI.

Does it mean we may sacrifice some safety for freedom? Quite possibly, but if this is an either or choice, I choose freedom over safety. We can always construct new entities that increase the security aspects.

There was a time when no one took Scott Ritter seriously. It’s hard to believe there are some finding him a decent character.

You would do well to listen to Italy's new Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Maybe then you will begin to understand where people are coming from:

Iโ€™ve never heard any politician so perfectly explain what weโ€™re up against and why we fight.

Because people realize just how much he was set up. But the ignorant among us still are not seeing the truth. They even are under the belief that we still live in the U.S., and that it is still the shining city on the hill that it used to be, instead of the hegemony is has become and the tyrannical hell hole it is striving to become.

You can either believe we want what is best for this nation & the world, or you can buy into the BS that we are against the Republic and the democratic ideals we do embrace as a Republic. Mainly freedom and property ownership, with the right to possess and own arms to protect ourselves, as well as, speak our minds, even if it makes some uncomfortable, while exercising our right to religious freedom.
