Interesting article that gives fuel (pun intended) to the idea that African nations are being artificially held back from advancing because the Euro-elites NEED a permanent “underclass”, grunt labor.
The hydrocarbon deposits are very large in Africa but the technology to develop them is being artificially priced out of the means of the 3rd world countries.
Yeah, it's mild - I'm feeling just so slightly off, and have a stuffy nose this morning again, but that is the pattern that colds have presented me for my entire life. My brother in law had the same delayed positive, so there's that.

Fortunately for me, most all the people I visited have recently had the Rona (probably gave it to me) so I wasn't going to pass it on to one of them. One guy didn't, and I already contacted him to warn him. I think he'll be OK - we merely had lunch together and watched trains for an hour or so. (he's a train nut like me).

Good to hear! Yes, employers are a PITA. I’m glad I’m retired and don’t have to jump through those hoops.
It’s good that you didn’t panic like my daughter did. The two or three days of hers, she thought it was seasonal allergies. She went about her business mowing the grass, going to work, etc. It all went fine until they tested her at work because she was coughing and sneezing, and she came up positive. The first two times she was tested she came up negative but they told her to keep testing at home. She also had a low grade fever that she didn’t know she had. Once she found out she was positive, she panicked. She’s 48 years old and was calling us at night asking if she was going to die, like a 4-year old. All of a sudden, due to a positive test, she was SO sick and scared to death. She made me go to my pharmacy in the middle of the night and get my Medicare allotment of 8 tests to give to her. I said, “these are made in China” and she didn’t care. The next day she asked me to go get my husband’s allotment of 8 tests. She worried that I didn’t have any tests so to shut her up I bought some of the USA tests (BinaxNow). They are still sitting there unopened. She called constantly wanting us to test. We wouldn’t. If one of us turned up positive on a test she would have lost her mind for sure!
It’s a head game most of the time to cause panic. When people “think” they are sick, some actually get sick. She’s one of those.
If I feel “off”, I can stay home if I have a fever and not get around people. When you work, that’s harder to do. One thing I won’t do is tell her. LOL

They renewed their domain a couple of weeks ago after being offline for 5 years so I'm hoping they'll be going live soon. I talked to one of the sheriffs who was unfamiliar with it. So who knows.

it seems the term “invisible enemy” could include the crown, but the tentacles go out much farther, imo.

p.s. Nobody could visit me unless they had a vax card or a negative covid test within last 48 hours. I don't associate with people like that, so I had to make friends with the nurses and got to lecture them on my covid policy and politics in generl, which ain't all bad.
