Yesterday was the 235th anniversary of the Constitution of the United States. It's one of the most influential documents in history and the world's oldest active codified constitution. Yet you would have never known, given the deafening silence on the social media accounts of our country's resident and vice resident. While they often pander to crowds, touting the importance of the Constitution, neither resident Joe Biden nor Vice resident Kamala Harris appeared to acknowledge Constitution Day on their social media accounts.
The Constitution is one of the greatest documents in the history of the world, so it is a little peculiar that our country's leadership failed to acknowledge Constitution Day on any of their social media platforms. Instead, resident Biden and Vice resident Harris spent the day tweeting about the need for abortion, the Inflation Reduction Act, and climate change. Considering both made multiple posts across different platforms celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month on Sept. 15, just two days earlier, it's a telling sign that neither posted about the significance of Sept. 17.
Yet this lack of patriotism and appreciation for the Constitution did not stop with Biden and Harris. This slight appeared to be widespread among the Democratic Party. Neither the Senate Democrats nor House Democrats' Twitter accounts acknowledged Constitution Day. Neither did the Democrats' Twitter account. However, all managed to post about National Hispanic Heritage Month.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) also failed to acknowledge Constitution Day but did acknowledge National Hispanic Heritage Month - multiple times. But somehow, he managed to find time out of his busy day to tweet about something called "Passport Month." But when it came to Constitution Day, Schumer's Twitter had a deafening silence. And, probably to no one's surprise, neither Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) nor any of the "Squad" members appeared...

The left hates The Constitution of the USA. They hate individual liberty and freedom. They love the power that collectivism/communism gives to them over us.
The Constitution is Dead, and has been for many years.

So, not one single Democrat tweeted or made any kind or of acknowledgement of Constitution Day.
All Republican candidates in 2022 and 2024 should hammer the Democrats over their blatant refusal honor Constitution Day.
The Left has pretty well killed it off over the past 100+ years. I wouldn’t expect them to acknowledge it.

Next thing you know we'll be seeing Obama referred to (on FR) as a Constitutionalist...
And most freepers oppose an Article V COS to take it back.

I know you bloody shirt waving yankees don’t want to think about this. The Constitution is an aspect of evil white man history that the woke communists will abolish just as they have removed R E Lee from the national pantheon and now are about to remove the Confederate Memorial from Arlington and disinter the remains of Lt Gen A P, CSA and rebury them in some obscure location. The Constitution has to go, there will be a be a new national anthem (’This Land is your land’, has been seriously suggested) and a new ‘inclusive multi color flag’. Shooting is the only this will be stopped. Are you very ‘goood’ and ever so ‘moral’ yankees up for that? You helped give this destruction of America as we knew it critical momentum by giving protective cover with your South hating ranting about getting ‘treasonous’ Confederate memorials removed.
I think the US Constitution is one of those things that doesn’t need an anniversary celebration, but it shouldn’t necessarily be something to always go unnoticed.
A con-con WILL NOT “take it back!”

If we keep electing LIEberals, we WILL lose Our FRee Republic!
Perhaps if there WERE an annual celebration, a National Holiday, even, We the People would become more knowledgeable, protective and supportive of Our Constitution!
There’s a little resort town in the Colorado mountains known as Grand Lake. They do a “Constitution Week” every summer. Speakers, parade, education and fun.
Anyone else know a place where that’s done? I hope there are other towns doing similar things.

Hardly. You do know there is a growing campaign to purge Phil Sheridan from the public square and in Minnesota there is a movement in the lower house to remove Lincoln’s portrait from the chamber.
