It was a Big Mac attack!

An ax-wielding wingnut ran amok inside a Delancey Street McDonald’s, terrorizing patrons and causing thousands of dollars worth of property damage, officials said.

What started as a nothing burger — a 2:25 a.m. dispute between the suspect, Michael Palacios, 31, of the Bronx, and three other men — escalated into a rampage.

The three men smacked a smirking Palacios, who then is seen on video putting his right arm against his head before calmly walking over to his backpack, where he pulled out an axe and then threatened his combatants and frightened patrons.

The joke around here is that if you go into a Waffle House after midnight, and you don’t have a sidearm, they issue you one. IIRC about 20% of Georgia’s adult population has a Georgia Weapons License, AKA a CCW.

We’ve had stories of customers ventilating armed robbers at WH in the wee hours.

I did burger joints after the bars closed when I was in college, we were loud and silly sometimes but wielding axes, naaaaa.

There’s so much right with this country it’s a shame that the 1% who are creeps and dipsticks get the attention. After all no one wants to read that story about the man who got the cat out of the tree safely.
