It was a Big Mac attack!
An ax-wielding wingnut ran amok inside a Delancey Street McDonald’s, terrorizing patrons and causing thousands of dollars worth of property damage, officials said.
What started as a nothing burger — a 2:25 a.m. dispute between the suspect, Michael Palacios, 31, of the Bronx, and three other men — escalated into a rampage.
The three men smacked a smirking Palacios, who then is seen on video putting his right arm against his head before calmly walking over to his backpack, where he pulled out an axe and then threatened his combatants and frightened patrons.

“Why on Earth are people eating McDonalds at 2:25am?”
Happy hour?

He told a lady to fear the other guy, not him.
So something happened.
Well, as long as they don’t throw the food at you. That stuff is dangerous.
Yeah, I would have been skeptical if it was from Harbor Freight.
Lol! Every good Scout knows you should always carry your trusty hatchet along by in your backpack when navigating the wilds of New York City. You never know when you might need it for chopping kindling for a campfire, clearing your way through dense underbrush or eliminating superfluous objects in a Micky D’s.

They still serve the McDLT?
😜
>>At 2:25am I’m sawing wood<<
Maybe that’s why the guy had his ax handy.
Ask Jussie.
Sharp eye you got there, Chief, and right you are.
Love your screen name, and so appropriate that you commented on this thread(!).
They were mcLovin it
Careful with that axe, Eugene...
I am not certain whether the blade had a sheath on it or not.
He was using the blunt end to hit things.
Should have been at Waffle House like normal people...
And, once again, the maxim, “Nothing good happens after 2:00 AM” has been proven true.
Don't go into a NYC McDonald's at 2 AM. Even after midnight....
Estwing does make good tools. I’ve worn out many an Estwing rock pick over the years, and still have two or three rock picks, a couple of gad-pry bars, a cracking hammer, and several chisels, all made by Estwing.
Never had much use for hatchets, though. I have one around someplace, but I use an old kukri for general lopping and trimming. For real chopping, I have full-sized axes.
“Have it Your Way” was a Burger King slogan IIRC.
He was just trying to Axe a question
Oh yeah, that’s the good stuff!
