EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.
From FaceBook:
Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. He then went back to the mine and got guys to push the car to the guard shack so they could plug in to charge. ... See more

I will have to check them out sometime, I didn’t realize that they still made them.
A few years ago, I was emptying out an old wardrobe that had been at my parents house for decades... the bottom draw seemed stuck and hard to slide open... I figured I would remove it completely to see what was wrong...
Well, lo and behold, there were two ‘missing’ small suitcase style containers holding my Matchbox and Corgi cars that went missing during a move when I was 9 years old!
It was great seeing them again!

I have been messing around using a whole slew of different starter words lately... I guess that I am getting bored with using the same couple of them at this point...

...this has been the best lesson in practical economics they could have had... Indeed, it will be paying dividend to them for the rest of their lives!
Enjoy those upcoming Saturdays!

This one took a minute.

Good Morning!
It was an odd word today, and I suppose that I should be happy to be on the four train with it...

I’ve posted a few remembrances on Facebook this morning. Sadly, I have a nephew whose birthday is today, but he had it first. I haven’t ever met him (was born in Alaska while I was in San Diego) but I can’t imagine that he would keep the day.
At any rate, a blessed Sunday to you, as well!
Good job though, because you weren’t X/6!

Good morning.
I’m going to sort clothes, then head for the laundry room. It’s a chilly 57° this morning. *brrrr*
