Damn....it's brutally hot...

Posted on 09/06/2022 12:39:48 PM PDT by Kevin in California

The entire state of California is a cinder box right now. Just stepped outside to grab my mail and it was sweltering. Looks like it's 103 right now. Supposed to peak at 106 but I'm guessing 110.

Hope you're all staying cool...

I don’t know but when I lived in the central valley in the seventies the average day was 103 from May to late September.

Have they ever heard or read the phrase, “Turn or burn?”

Maybe God is giving them a foretaste of their infernal reward.

#RustyIrony! #GreenCalifornia

ALL CO2 “Climate Change” controls can be undone by a single volcano eruption or big California type wildfires. The “Watermelons” (Green on the outside, red on the inside) won’t “save” the planet but they will seek a return to a medieval feudal society, masters and serfs. #Dystopia.

The biggest threat to humanity of Global Warming (Climate Change on cold days) are its’ globalists “solutions.

Those nuclear power plants CA shut down could be running a lot of air conditioners.

Yep, and even charging a lot of battery cars...

All govt buildings should be set at 80 in summer and 65 winter.
Set an example for the masses.

Currently 126 in Death Valley.

Sounds like a great day to stroll across the Mexican border into the States.

But really you do have to wonder how many bodies are out there in the desert, people who were left behind by the coyotes.

Hurricane Kay is about 1,000 miles south of Southern California and is probably contributing to the humidity. It could even bring some rain on Friday.

We haven’t had a hurricane since 1939. That one was barely a category 1, but it caused a lot of damage and even a few deaths.

Lived in the Sacramento Valley from 1963 to 1991 and it was “HOT” most summers. I remember the Septembers starting school and wondering why there was absolutely no HVAC in the schools. Not even a electric fan. I do remember occaisionally having heat waves lasting a week or two. There was more than one summer when temps could go north of 112F, even higher. The media hypes the high temps, but it is summer and sometimes the weather gets hot.
