"In the past 24 hours, in their effective operations the Russian forces eliminated 48 tanks, 46 infantry fighting vehicles, 37 other combat armored vehicles, 8 pickup vehicles with large-caliber machine-guns and over 1,200 Ukrainian servicemen," Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported

This while Russian troops are desperately trying to swim across the Dnieper. Kherson will return to Ukrainian control, the only issue is when, and at what cost. Without ammunition, Russian troops will not stop them from retaking the West Bank of the Dnieper.
I wish there was one news source that we could trust in this war but there is not.
They just sweep up more men from the streets to replace them. Not a problem!
A litte early to say it failed.
Trump is absolutely right when he said a negotiated settlement to end the war, with Ukraine conceding territory, should have occurred months ago,
Well, if a Russian general is claiming it on TASS,.it must be true!

History is a reliable news source. If there was a history of US interventions of this sort that resulted in any legitimate benefit to anyone we’d be able to cite it, and model this one after that one.
There is not.
I agree. There is so much disinformation surrounding this conflict, the smoke has to clear considerably before any claim by either side can be believed.
Both sides pump out reports that they are totally dominating and the other side is collapsing. They want morale high for their side and low for the other. Not sure where to find any good info.
Fortunately for Ukraine, that isn't up to Trump.

Sky News seems to be better than most.
Ukraine has ZERO chance of gaining back any territory. Tens of thousands of Ukrainians have already died. And, Ukraine is shrinking. All that will continue unless it unconditionally surrenders.
Only a sociopath would want to continue to inflict all that Ukraine. But, those running our foreign policy under Biden and those running "the liberal world order" are sociopaths.
At the same time, it is undisputed that they have gained significant portions of Ukrainian territory, and to this point, Ukraine has been ineffective at recovering that territory. You could perhaps give them an exception for recovering land around Kharkiv.
To me, the recent stagnation strongly suggests that both sides have exhausted most of their offensive capability. I do think that basic examination of a map shows Ukraine has an advantage when it comes to Kherson. The Russians have an unsupported salient across a very wide river, and that just does not seem sustainable in the long term.
Right now, all we can do is sit back and wait until the picture around Kherson becomes more clear, and that likely will take weeks at a minimum. Until then, it doesn't make sense to bieve anything from either side.
TASS
🤣🤣🤣
No. I’m siding with the Ukrainians over the Russians. Whatever positions Biden, Trump, or any other political figure takes doesn’t impact my personal opinion in the slightest.
