5 people got swine flu? That is about the same number that got swine flu in 1976 during the Jimmy Carter flu panic! More people died standing in line for the shot than died of the flu.

And when one man finally came down with it, the news media swamped him!

There are at least two variants of Swine Flu detected so far (H1N2v, and H3N2v) in the US so far in 2022.

" On August 26, 2022, the CDC stated this is the second patient infected with an H1N2v virus reported in the USA in 2022.
And is the fifth human infection with variant influenza A viruses this year, including three H3N2v (West Virginia) and two H1N2v (Ohio, Oregon) viruses."

" According to the CDC, there are different swine influenza virus subtypes and strains, some of which infect other animals but rarely humans."

I had H1N1 back in 2010 if I remember right.
