Colonel Douglas Macgregor Interview - DEBUNKING Taiwan, Ukraine LIES
Sample of viewer comments -- all are very favorable...well worth watching.
Colonel Mac Gregor is an intellectual you can rarely speak with in America. What a intellect of this man you can only admire him. And what a honest man speaking the truth with his wide minds over the situation in the world. Compliments from Europe colonel.
This man has busted my preconceptions of what an American Colonel is like. Massive respect, hugely open minded (holistically, not as in rather narrow modern definition), a man truly worth listening to.
Colonel Mac Gregor such an eye opener. A true intellectual man with a open mind, if only we have people like him as leader in the house we won’t be in the sh!t we’re in now.
Thanks for this. Macgregor is great
Douglas Macgregor is a paid employee of Russian Times (RT) a state-owned enterprise of the Putin regime.
Which lies?
Best truth-teller on TV
What sort of crap is this.
No content regarding headline/title.
Bunch of crap about some nobody no one’s heard of.
Yes. More idiocy posted here.
Yeah, I’m so glad we can trust the msm for the truth.

Jackson Hinkle is one of Jimmy Dore’s contributors and Dore has been VERY skeptical about Ukraine as an honest progressive.
Make up your own mind.
So, the author and the Colonel agree. Wonderful.
I believe, after a few years of study and experience, that when someone so clearly states that they are in full and comlete agreement with an ideal, opinion or personal perspective of a man (yes, the traditional “gender” sense of the word for those easily offended by their own ignorance), that they are well past objective and critical thinking and have fully drunk of the “Kool-Aid” being promulgated.
That said, MacGregor makes a lot of sense, but he isn’t a single source solution to such a complex problem. So, I’ll continue to look and see, rather than jump on board the train.
I support Ukrainian people being savaged by an unlawful war being waged by belligerent and corrupt political entities on this side of, and on the other side, of the pond.
My hope is that whatever the eventual outcome of the “special military mission” in Ukraine is, is that the people of Ukraine never ever, ever, give up the weapons that they now hold closely.
When it comes to government, the end state is always about greater security of itself, and even greater control over the population it “governs”. Only idiots and statists think otherwise, but I repeat myself.
Wow. A lot of unnecessary flak here, IMO. Yeah, agreed, poster could have added a bit more commentary, but I am glad for the post as it brought the video to my attention. I thought the video was brilliant. A whole heck of a lot of clarity and insight not seen anywhere else.
“I thought the video was brilliant.”
What are the lies?
When the poster starts his discussion with heaping accolades on the interviewee, I start to get skeptical. Sounds like s ‘sell’ job. When you start off with ‘he is the most truthful’, I start looking for the lies.
I get enough propaganda as it is. I do not need to go out of my way to read more.
...just asking, but why would you write that...? because he tells the truth about why we are bankrolling a thoroughly corrupt regime in Ukraine...? or that this myth that the Ukies will eventually win over the Ruskies is pure mental masturbation...?? I think the good Colonel is telling the truth and presents the facts...whether we like to believe them or not...
Ukraine SitRep - Casualties Leak - Ukraine Admits Russian Breakthrough - Southern Front Paralysis
> New Moon of Alabama
There is an report on Ukraine making the rounds that was allegedly written by the higher command of the Ukrainian army and leaked from somewhere.
Ukrainian channels are discussing what might be a leaked data from AFU General Staff:
- The AFU are only at 43-48% strength
- medical workers at their limit
- small arms and armor are not enough
- 191 thousand soldiers were killed and wounded (only AFU, not including others)
- there is not enough hydraulics and liquid nitrogen for M777 howitzers
- no one cares about the missing - there are no statistics
- the equipment transferred by the West is running out
- western weapons are operated by amateurs, since there are no qualified specialists
- no way to repair weapons on the spot due to the lack of spares and specialists - everything is sent to Poland
BTW, even with this dire report, I would caution against predicting a decisive break in morale. As with Peski, the walking wounded are sent straight back into the trenches
There are some pictures of documents written in cyrillic script attached to the above tweet.
The documents look legit. The overall numbers and issues mentioned seem plausible to me.

IF you didn’t know that MacGregor is a loon and a sell out, he’s confirmed it by not only stating we would be defeated and must allow Russia to take Ukraine;
More incredibly he now accuses us of provoking China, declares that China will easily sink our navy and defeat us, and that we must abandon Taiwan.
Which would be an incredible national defense and economic catastrophe for the United States and our allies including Japan.
MacGregor is misleading a lot of people and his claims are easily dismissed by anyone with the most basic knowledge of military and international affairs.
I don’t know his real motivation but I’m guessing his shilling for Russia extends to Russia’s military ally, China.
He has become a very nefarious character.
If you want to surrender Taiwan to China, you are absolutely nuts.
Watch the video. Macgregor is a voice a reason. He says he believes Russia is “winning”. Ukraine has suffered heavy casualties. Arms and money for Ukraine are partially being diverted. Ukraine money is flowing back through defense contractors and into political donations. The whole Ukraine debacle could have been avoided had the US, and the West, simply listened to Putin’s complaints and tried to negotiate something out.
Pelosi’s visit will likely push China and Russia into a more formal bilateral alliance. Possibly signing documents in the months ahead. NATO and the EU are probably on the ropes.
China is primarily a regional defensive power. The US could not, nor should not, sustain any type of military offensive against China, especially if Russia could/would help with supply chain issues in a given conflict.
Controversially, he states that the China and Tawain issue is an internal China matter that we would not do well to go to the mat for.
(BTW, is that your car on your profile page?)
China’s military is primarily regionally defen
You seem to need a clue, so here’s one: China already “owns” Taiwan. And there’s nothing we can or will do about it.
He made reference to Gen. Mark Clark during the Korean War of bringing a plan to Eisenhower to invade China with 800,000+ troops. Eisenhower, correctly, thought that was nuts. The point he was making was that going to war with China would be on the order of magnitude never seen in modern times.
MacGregor and the pro-Russian shills predicted Russia would win in a week. For the last six months these same experts have revised Russia will win next week, like they say they have predicted all along.
"I thought Russia would go in on three or four operational four axis..."
How nice of MacGregor to say he predicted what happened six months after the fact, when he never made and public prediction in the first place
"The Russian commanders were instructed to minimize casualties...", because they were going into pro-Russian eastern Ukraine.
Mariupol is in eastern Ukraine. This is Mariupol today:
Russia's devastation of Mariupol, Ukraine visible from space in satellite photos
A city destroyed: Scenes of devastation in besieged Mariupol, 1 of 23:
(Hint: The other 22 pictures aren't flowers and fields)
So much for the Russian plan of no collateral damage in the supposedly Pro-Russian eastern part of the country.
And this is the first two and a half minutes.
