With the deep fundamental and structural differences American culture is experiencing, I'd like to propose divorcing the regressives and going our separate ways. But how to split up the spoils — who gets the kids, who gets what — are the questions. I propose the following split:
Redmerica: We get the entire right half of the country.
Bluemerica: They get the left side.
Right down the middle. That's the hard part, but we'll make it happen.
Redmerica: We get the dirty, polluting coal plants, oil pipelines, electric generators, and gas-guzzler cars and trucks. We also build nuclear power plants.
Bluemerica: They can have the electric cars, charging stations, ESG, twelve-hundred-dollar car batteries, windmills, and hamster wheels inside their Kias.
Redmerica: We will take Trump, DeSantis, Boebert, J.D. Vance, Mike Lee, Cotton, Blackburn, Ernst, Inhofe, Tim Scott, Ben Carson, Noem, Jim Jordan, Eric Greitens, Kari Lake, and Herschel Walker.
Bluemerica: They can have Biden, Harris, Waters, Swalwell, Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff, Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Wray, (deep breath), Newsom, Romney, Richard Blumenthal, Abrams, Hochul, Whitmer, Soros, Boudin, (deep breath), Nikole Hanna-Jones, Bill Gates, Jeff Zucker, Mark Zuckerberg, Ibram Kendi, and anyone named McCain, Cheney, or Obama.
Redmerica: We will be happy to take Dan Bongino, Tom Fitton, Shelby Steele, Tucker Carlson, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Candace Owens, Kurt Schlichter, Judge Jeanine, Victor Davis Hanson, Maria Bartiromo, (deep breath), Thomas Sowell, Clarence Thomas, Ben Shapiro, Mark Levin, Rumble, Locals, One America, FoxNation, Daily Wire, the ghost of Rush Limbaugh, and talk radio.
Bluemerica: They can have CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC, the entire mainscream media, Stephen Colbert, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Twitter, Klaus Schwab, Larry Fink, Facebook, Rachel Maddow, Wikipedia, and all the alleged fact-checkers who rarely get their facts checked.

Unfortunately this will not be resolved without bloodshed however, its gotta happen. The left and right cannot coexist anymore. I for one do not want to live with their deviant ways anymore. They hate me and at this point in time I hate them more. We need to resolve this now or it will inevitably end up in a legit civil war.
They’ll want the northeast cities. In this scenario we’d probably have to split them, a la West and East Berlin; since their halves would be surrounded by Redstateia, the Blueies would have to build walls to keep their people in, just as in Cold War Berlin.
Red America is everything outside the urban areas. Why give them the left side of anything?
Let them keep the cities only.
Good intentions, but the concept would require a bit of tinkering.
There are still a lot of card carrying conservatives sprinkled all over the west. I like the weather and mountains of California. Somebody else may have a good job in Seattle. Where are we supposed to go?
Moving back with what remains of my family wont work. They are of the Blue Gang, while I am of the Red Gang. Besides, the Libs wont want to give up New York; their crown jewel of progressive thinking.

This is a good idea. If we separate by counties, there would be a few Blue Islands walled in. I’m thinking more of Minnesota. The Twin Cities and Duluth would be walled in.
This way I would be able to continue to live in a place that has -20 in February. I love the cold weather. I love God and I love the U.S. Constitution. Not is that order...
Agreed. They would need to carve out with a scalpel around those blue areas and give those folks that live there the choice to stay or move out
If this were to ever happen, I don’t think those blue areas would last more than 10 years max. They would run out of money with their social welfare programs and the majority of people that opted to stay would probably be begging for help to get out.
Why not simply have a second Civil War? Red America is armed Blue Amerikkka is unarmed with the exception of the pansies funded by George “The Nazi” Soros funded people and the Deep State.
Splitting the geography is easy compared to splitting the financial aspects. Don’t forget, even in a divorce someone gets stuck with the debts and bills. A divorce doesn’t erase those things.
Now split the debts and liabilities.
Who pays for earned retirements, ie, military, etc.?
How about social security, etc.?
Who pays the interest on national debts?
Then there are the questions like what happens to blue voters in the red states?

Progressive transnationals believe they should be running the whole world. They would only pretend to agree to separation if it was their best move at the moment.
Maybe just split it at the Mississippi. People will just have to move ala India/Pakistan.

I’m afraid you’re right. One reason the USSR split up peacefully was that the various ethnic groups were already pretty much separate from each other.
We are more like India before the 1947 partition; different ethnic groups are all mixed together. The partition of India was a terrible, bloody mess. Let’s pray that’s not in our future.
I agree. We shouldn't split the country. We just need to ban communists and crazies from public office and employment.
Surround the cities. Walk them off. Control access. And let them rot.
It’s not hard to find the quotes from the liberals where they detail how Red, Rural America could t survive without them. Let’s do the experiment and find out.
Look at the nation by counties and you see why such a split would never work.
Typically, libs/leftists are in the cities and ‘Americans’ are in the rural areas.
The only equable solution is all-or-nothing after CW2 with real bullets and real deaths. Either that or what was the nation breaks into a dozen or more city-states and that opens them to future invasion from other city-states or foreign entitles.
Think USSR, break up, attempts to ‘reunite’ as is happening in Ukraine now.
The leftists have to be defeated and wiped out or they will be back continuing their subversion. They seem to feel the same about ‘conservatives’.
I rather have the southern half of the country in a north south divide than the east in a east west divorce.They get the snow. We get the moon pies.
