Yes, give the entire western half of the United States to crazy libs, and what would happen?

Chicago is corrupt to this day because it has never recovered from the corruption that resulted from the days of prohibition, Al Capone and the gang wars, political and law enforcement corruption that resulted.
Over 100 years and it still is not recovered!
And you think Chicago, NY, Atlanta and the few others that are totally corrupt will suddenly become model communities where one can walk, work or play at all hours of the day and night surrounded by love?

Its not hard to see that we are much different place today than we once were. Its debatable if we are even a country anymore considering that we have no borders, a dysfunctional legal system, and endemic corruption in our institutions.
Still, there advantages in being something resembling a world power. Split up the country and things will be harder for all of us, both in material and non-material ways. In a sense it would mean the country had failed, and the rest of the world would see it that way as well.
Americans are unhappy with the way things are now, but most of them aren't especially political and wouldn't be any happier in a successor country dominated by ideologues.
Leftists gained the power they have today by infiltration. They infiltrated colleges, high schools, elementary schools, school boards, city councils, HR departments, newspapers, and any other position of power they could.
If the country is split, they will simply infiltrate the new country, and then it would have to split again and again until there is nothing left.
We would not be having the problem we have today if leftists were not driven to control everyone else. If they lived peaceably among themselves, no problem. But instead, they infiltrate, agitate, whine about fairness, censor, burn cities, and murder people until they get their way. They won’t stop if we give them territory. They will consolidate that gain then start agitating to take more.
You also can’t trust the idea of banning them from office because the siren song of ‘unfair to ban other viewpoints’ will eventually win out and they will gain power again.
They infiltrated the GOP as well.

Why give them any piece of America? If they don’t love their country, & don’t want to live in freedom under our constitution, just make them renounce their citizenship & go find the commie hell-hole of their choice. One by one, we should simply be showing them the door...

Yes,I’d opt for “red” America. If it’s everything east of West Texas I’ll stay where I am and winter in Florida. And BTW....a split of Alaska would be essential. Both sides get some oil and minerals.

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.
A starting point. Probably add most of YN and TN and chunks of other states like GA, SC, WV, VA, IL, IN, OH, PA. Hard to get AZ without having to take UT and those people just ain't right.

My favorite book on this subject is “Molon Labe!” a novel by Boston T Party
Its about conservatives making a distinct effort to take over a state, wyoming, starting county by county, then the entire state, all through the ballot box. From there wyoming has to deal with an out of control federal govt and eventually other states move to the side of a free wyoming. The book goes into the laws that are passed that push all left leaning citizens out of wyoming. All done legally.
