The winning numbers were: 13-36-45-57-67, Mega Ball: 14
Well duh....time to hire an attorney and financial advisor...so you don’t get too scr**** on the taxes.
I'd have to do a little math first.
Congratulations and best of luck to the winner.
A man comes home one day and says, “Guess what honey? Pack your bags, I won the lottery!”
The wife squeals with delight and says, “That’s great! Should I pack for the mountains or the beach?”
He says, “I don’t care, just get out!”
*RIMSHOT*
Yeah, but the cash option is only $780 million, and after taxes you’re looking at maybe $450-$500 million. Hardly worth the effort, right?
What a curse, to suddenly have so much money. Abs I’m not being sarcastic.
Why does it seem all the big winners in these huge lottery jackpots are in blue states?
Remember this winner?

If Lori Leadfoot pulled the winning number, then you know it is rigged.
actually the winning ticket was sold to me in Arkansas but they picked the wrong numbers.
Once again my guardian angel kept me from wasting $2.00.
Who ever one probably had a heart attack by now.
Do you really think the lotto is ran fairly and honest ? Do you really think winning would make your life better ? If you believe either I feel sympathy for you .
Luke 12:15
And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.
That’s impossible. I didnt buy my ticket in Illinois.
State of Illinois gets $50 million or so of this. Good news for Pritzker.
My neighbor won the lottery over 20 years ago. He won 3 million dollars. But because he chose the lump sum option, he netted about 960 thousand and change. He was pissed because he thought lump sum option meant they’d pay him the 3 million in full.
Still, he put the money he got to good use. He installed an inground swimming pool in his backyard, he updated, renovated, and slightly expanded his house. New rooms, new extra bathroom, expanded kitchen, finished basement, new roof and siding, etc. And most of all, he started his own plumbing business which seems to be doing very well.
I don’t know how much out of the initial 960 thousand he spent to do all that, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he has long since earned it all back and then some.
I matched zero digits on MM, but on my PowerPlay Powerball ticket, I made $12 for hitting the bonus ball number (and no other digits). Both were ez picks.
