Herschel Walker
7/30/22 | Vanity

Posted on 07/30/2022 11:02:24 AM PDT by Levy78

I’m going to say what I suspect many are thinking here on FR. Herschel Walker, really? I met him 8 or 10 years ago at event and shot the bull with him for 10 or 15 mins. He could hardly speak, he had dead eyes and I walked away feeling like I had spoken with a mentally deficient/disabled person. On top of what his probably his naturally low IQ, he’s got to have some degree of CTE.

Warnock has to be defeated at all costs, but the fact these two are the choices for the people of Georgia has got have the Founders spinning in their graves. Such a critical race and the best we can must is the brain dead Walker? Pathetic.

Suburban voters in Georgia are all Dims, so no worry about articulate.

The sum total of everyone’s comments is that it OK to put people with low IQs into the Congress and Senate. In the next thread they’ll be complaining that the government sure is screwing everything up. If the voters cannot see the two issues are tightly coupled, is it really a wonder that our Republic is dying?

What does a Senator have to do other than vote? It’s not like we’re asking for Herschel to be a Committee Chairman or anything?

Just like he did for Trump? My observation is that God has very little to do with the daily operations of this planet, and that He has already given up on this Nation. I’m sure He was expecting us to participate more intelligently in self-governance.

It was the Ivy League that got us trillions in debt. Governing honestly isn’t any more difficult than filing your taxes.

Dead eyes and low IQ is a resume enhancer. He will make a great Senator.

If AOC can do it, so can Herschel. At least he isn’t a baby killer.

UGGGH!!!!!

I was hoping no one would bring that up.

We gave Dallas our future, and they cleaned house

Along with others pics, the players that we gave would have amounted to some draft pics in the future if they kept them on the roster by the end of the second year they owed us some compensational pics. They kept the players long enough too get past the rookie years and sophomore years then cut them or traded them before the deal kicked in.

Then when Walker came in, they used in in the worst way to do so. Walk was a straight ahead smash runner, we kept using him around the corner, and his history was that when used in any sideways move he was easy to take down.

However, I loved the guy. I lived in GA when he won the Heisman and won the Championship. Met him and was instantly impressed with him.

Vikings received:

Cowboys received:

The Philadelphia “collar countries” (Philadelphia ‘burbs) are the same. It’s a ‘woke festival’ here. I know a few people that relocate to the Atlanta area for work. I’m sure it’s no different there.

Business activities
In 1984, Walker franchised a D’Lites fast food restaurant in Athens, Georgia.[90]

In 1999, Walker created Renaissance Man Food Services, which distributes chicken products. Originally his producer was Sysco Corp. following a casual conversation with a Sysco vice-president who asked him to provide some chicken-breading recipes from his mother.[91][92] He founded Savannah-based H. Walker Enterprises in 2002 as an umbrella company for most of his other business ventures, the largest of which was Renaissance Man Food Services.[93]

Walker has a history of exaggerating the number of people employed by his companies and the assets held by his companies, and the failure of several business enterprises led to creditors bringing lawsuits.[93] Walker touted Renaissance Man Food Services as a “mini-Tyson Foods”[93] and repeatedly claimed that the company had more than 100 employees, achieved $70 million in annual sales, owned chicken processing plants, and was one of the largest minority-owned meat processors in the nation.[93][92][91] In subsequent deposition testimony in a lawsuit, however, Walker gave far lower figures, saying that his company averaged about $1.5 million in annual profits from 2008 and 2017.[94] In the same case, a business associate of Walker testified that, contrary to Walker’s claim, his company does not own chicken processing plants; rather, Walker licensed his name to the enterprise.[94] In a 2018 declaration submitted in a legal case against his company, Walker acknowledged that the company did not own any chicken processing plants, and instead partnered with plant owners to sell branded chicken products.[93]

Walker repeatedly lied that he started and owned a drapery company, which he purported in February 2022 to have 250 employees, but Walker was never directly involved in Renaissance Manufacturing, which dissolved in 2021.[95] Walker lied in multiple instances that Renaissance Man Foods was the largest minority-owned food business in the U.S., but it is much smaller in reality.[95]

In April 2020, the company applied for Paycheck Protection Program loan due to the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic;[96] in its PPP application, the company reported that it had just eight employees,[93][94] and the company ultimately received two PPP loans totaling $180,000, of which $111,300 was forgiven.[93] Walker later mocked the PPP program during his Senate campaign.[97]

“Low IQ or not, a moral compass would be acceptable to me for a politician.”

We just don’t know which Walker will show up!

In the book, Walker wrote that he had a dozen distinct identities, or alters.[94] According to Walker, some of his alters did many good things, but other alters exhibited extreme and violent behavior, which Walker said he mostly could not remember.[129] A competitive alter caused him to play Russian roulette in 1991, as he saw “mortality as the ultimate challenge”, he wrote.[94][129] He was formally diagnosed with the disorder in 2001, after he sought professional help for being tempted to murder a man who was late in delivering a car to him.[94]
