What could possibly go wrong.

It's that old thing...if it ain't broke...don't fix it.

"Experts say the trajectory is an environmental necessity in the face of a worsening climate crisis."

And there it is...the underlying insanity that drives all of this electrification craze. Recent reports say we will need six times more copper to achieve our Glorious Green Future. I'm sure the environweenies will be fine with opening hundreds of gigantic open pit copper mines all over the world.

"...today’s batteries aren’t nearly as energy-dense as jet fuel, requiring bulk and weight that pose significant aerodynamic challenges."

As if aerodynamic challenge is the only problem. Batteries are very heavy. What about the challenge of hauling 13 times the weight of equivalent jet fuel to high altitude? Does that make engineering and economic sense?

I’m fine if the technology is focused on safety and efficiency. But I don’t see how batteries are efficient.

Can’t wait to see the charging stations. Batteries also naturally degrade and getting out of spec over time.

Leonardo Cornholio can be a test pilot for these battery powered planes. He can channel Howard Hughes.
