Futures contracts for delivery next month tied to TTF, the European benchmark wholesale gas price, jumped 20 per cent on Tuesday to breach €210 per megawatt hour, the highest level since early March, a day after Russia warned of lighter flows on the largest pipeline supplying the region. Prices are more than 10 times higher than the average between 2010 and 2020.
Russian state-backed energy group Gazprom on Monday said flows on the Nord Stream 1 (NS1) pipeline would plummet to 33mn cubic metres from Wednesday because of turbine maintenance issues. That would amount to a fifth of the pipeline’s capacity and half of current levels.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters that a key turbine for NS1 was on its way after maintenance and was expected to be installed “sooner rather than later”.
But he added: “The situation is critically complicated by the restrictions and sanctions that have been imposed on our country.”

Trump warned Germany about Russian energy and they laughed about it
Is is still funny?
I hope these Population Control freaks see justice before they achieve their goal.
Germany Reacts to Trump’s UNGA Speech

Makes me wish we’d nuked Berlin instead of Hiroshima.
Biden approved the Nord Stream 2 pipeline and reduced Trump's sanctions on Russia during his first months in office.
Then, when Biden re-imposed those Trump sanctions, he called them "the toughest ever".
I’m wondering why they haven’t invented superlight trailers that are mostly solar cells in order to give these prototypes longer range.
Is is still funny?

What I find funny is the West went along with weaponizing the USD and sanctions….they committed suicide, something that Senile Joe appears to be good at….can I say it again? …. Vlad says Checkmate again and again….the West no longer had any qualified leaders…. a clown show for all the world to see.
Yep, Trump did try to warn Europe, and Germany in particular. As the story mentions, Trump placed sanctions on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. Biden removed the sanctions after he took office, which provided a financial windfall for Russia. It’s strange how the media ignores all this (it’s almost like it’s intentional).
Yet, Biden’s stupid EO that killed the Keystone Pipeline, severely restricted site for oil leases, and bogged down the permitting process, means that we are flaring off millions of cubic feet of natural gas because Brandon is too f’ing stupid to cancel that EO. Then, on top of that, he exporting our strategic oil reserves to foreign nations.
Worst President ever! But, that’s what you get with a mail order President.
“I’m wondering why they haven’t invented superlight trailers that are mostly solar cells in order to give these prototypes longer range.”
To fragile to endure actual road conditions?
This is impossible.
I’ve been to Europe. There’s windmills everywhere..............................
Right now, the European Spot Market is US$1600-1700 per 1000cm. NG may go to US$1,900 per 1,000 cubic meters
Natural Gas not gasoline
This Winter will be the peak of the natural gas crunch for Europe.
If they get through till Spring without capitulating to Russia, Russia will be fundamentally weakened.
The rest of the world is ramping up replacement supply, and Europe is building out import infrastructure.
I guess we are lucky the USA has no strategic natural gas reserve. Biden would be selling it off to Germany.
And stop pushing Biden's climate change agenda. It's sc****** up the economy and not changing the climate even the tiniest bit....and it never will....and every scientist on earth knows it.
Because a 120 foot long trailer would be unseemly.
Bidet to follow by raising our gas prices in sympathy.
