Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich weighs in on the upcoming 2022 midterm election on the "FOX News Sunday" panel:
BRET BAIER: You've been in politics a long time. Democrats in some states around the country are funding more right-leaning candidates thinking it's going to be easier for them. They did it in Maryland, Pennsylvania. They failed in Colorado. This can whip around them.
NEWT GINGRICH: It's an a huge risk. You're faced with an American tsunami, not a republican. An American tsunami.
You saw some of it just now. 38% increase in New York City in the last year. People are going to go out, look at their gas tank, look at their grocery store, and I guess the Republicans are going to pick up probably five or six Senate seats somewhere between 40 and 70 House seats. It won't be obvious until October and in October will come crashing down. The Democrats are helping nominate the people they least want to see in office. It's crazy.

When the R’s get in charge, they will be their usual spineless selves about trying to uncover the crimes of the democrats. They will say things like, it’s more important to get the economy turned around so we aren’t going to get bogged down in investigations, blah, blah blah. In the meantime, the dems will be going after Trump and everyone associated with him full bore.
I don't think that compares. This is the first mid-term during a presidency. It's more like 1994 (Slick Willy's 1st midterm) than 1998 (the 2nd midterm). The first midterms have a track record of going against the party in the WH.
Of course, that was before blatant vote stealing like Dominion algorithms, boarding Republican observers from observing the counting, cheat by mail, midnight dropbox ballot dumps, fake water leaks to run the Republicans out of the building, and being caught on camera double and triple scanning ballots that voted "correctly".
I believe the Senate races are going to be ground zero for the cheating
I doubt it. The 2020 fix is still in to my knowledge
And the cheating tsunami will taketh it all away.
The difference is Monica didn’t affect Americans lives.
Gas, BLM, Antifi, SJW are affecting Americans every day.
60 House seats is very possible.
AZ, GA and NH pickup.
Worried about PA but I’m not the only one.
And still nothing of substance will get done.
Don’t count the chickens before the eggs are even laid.
Don't you mean before the eggs are stolen?
>> the gridlock will continue and there will be no change
Gridlock is pretty much the best anyone can hope for these days.
Pa is going to be about getting out the vote.
So our sacred ability to have a voice in our governance is not all that important to you? Is that what you’re saying?
she’s a leftist freak, only here on FR to disturb the sh*t
Colorado is run by the Denver-Boulder axis of evil. Gov. polesmoker will have no trouble being re-elected and maybe on the dim ticket for 2024.
A cynic might expect that the Democrats will do “surprisingly well” and hold on to both the House and Senate as a sort of “ringing endorsement” of Joe Biden’s “very popular” agenda and “skillful management” of the nation.
If we get that sort of electoral outcome in November, and that kind of media “justification” for why this was an honest election with no cheating anywhere — how many people will just say “Drat! But wait until 2024! We’ll win that one!”
And note that if Republicans do happen to win in November, and if they are all Liz Cheney/Mitt Romney types, then it’s the same problem. Some people see, and some don’t.
yes indeed, IF (and only if) the GOP has neutralized the DemoNaziCommie/DNC Election Theft Machine
Get in the back of the bus and stfu.
Just shut up.
Thank you for your deeply reasoned response to my post.
Simpleton.
Trump’s endorsements in Georgia and Pennsylvania haven’t done much to “keep us in line”
