The James Woods statement is 100% spot on, IMHO-

Trump was/is unique. He’s essentially an outsider may that be as a party guy, or who funds him (no strings attached - not owned).

The decisions he made pissed those with the real power and money off.

In particular, these were pharma, big tech and anyone else doing trade with China, those getting their billions from BS enviro schemes, or the Euros and UN, some in his own party... The MSM was always his enemy once he stepped foot on the political stage. His own party never really wanted him.

1. His executive order to control drug costs cut into the profits of pharma and cost them dearly. These folks are smart and they do not make a public fuss, but behind closed doors they work hard on trying to get their way.

2. China and all those doing trade with them (US firms like Amazon, GM, Dell, HP, Apple) did not appreciate his actions with China trying to curb their theft of intellectual property of unfair trade where they manipulate currency etc... Example, Amazon like pharma didn’t come out publicly as this hurts the bottom line (consumer backlash) but they supported Biden, backed BLM, and were in bed with the big tech campaign to have him removed (deplatforming pro-Trump websites, etc).

3. 4. There were people in the GOP who paid the price and checked all the blocks. Here comes a Fu#%ing outsider and steals the show! Romney, Bush, it was their turn!!! Trump came from nowhere and bumped folks in his own party to the back. Some were cool about it, like Ted Cruz (actually supporting Trump and going after real issues during the Covid nonsense era, highly respectable), but others like Romney, McCain, Bush or McConnel were essentially working from within his own party as if they were the enemy.

Trump picked to many fights with powerful folks may that be all the scumbags sucking on the green subsidies teat, those benefiting from the slave labor pimped out by an atheist oppressive single party communist regime in China, or the pharma industry.

Let’s be blunt. The US is ruled by money. Forget all that Disney nonsense. Trump pissed off a lot of folks. But I cannot say that he did anything wrong except maybe make to many enemies to quickly. You cannot survive when you piss off to many rich and powerful oligarchs and in the end you will become their victim (the swamp will pull you under and drown you).
