A former teacher from the Texas Panhandle is charged with having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
On Thursday, Kaylyn Paige Miller, 30, turned herself in.
At 9:40 a.m., she was lodged in the Hutchison County Jail.
Miller was accused of having an “improper interaction between educator and pupil,” according to jail documents.
After posting a $50,000 bond she was released.
Miller taught math at West Texas Middle School in Stinnett.
She resigned on January 6, according to Plemons-Stinnett-Phillips CISD.
Miller may receive two to 20 years in jail and a fine of up to $10,000 if found guilty.

Had she gone into politics, nobody would even bat an eyelash.
Middle school — 12-13 years old.
Education departments ought to tell teachers that from now on their pronouns are “Don’t have sex with students” and “Don’t friggin have friggin sex with friggin students.”
Funny you can’t hide your lying eyes.
Nor that thousand-c%ck stare.
