A former teacher from the Texas Panhandle is charged with having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
On Thursday, Kaylyn Paige Miller, 30, turned herself in.
At 9:40 a.m., she was lodged in the Hutchison County Jail.
Miller was accused of having an “improper interaction between educator and pupil,” according to jail documents.
After posting a $50,000 bond she was released.
Miller taught math at West Texas Middle School in Stinnett.
She resigned on January 6, according to Plemons-Stinnett-Phillips CISD.
Miller may receive two to 20 years in jail and a fine of up to $10,000 if found guilty.

That’s not the same girl in the first picture. The hairline is completely different.
Groom ‘em in kindergarten and bang ‘em in middle school. Seems like a natural progression to me. /s
Where in the hell were these girl teachers when I was in school?
Missed out again!
Its the same girl. It came off her school profile page. She’s just been eating a lot apparently.
I had one, 9th grade English, 1970’s. She was a blonde who wore jump suits unzipped to her navel as she described her latest conquests. She ended up having sex with dozens of Seniors, all over 18, so she stayed out of jail.
Something she didn’t learn back in college.
Plus, I'm guessing she is out $5,000 since most 30 year olds don't have a spare $50,000 lying around to post bond.
I brought my pencil
All my teachers looked like Helen Thomas........................
In Kali? They would promote her and punish the kid.
I forgot my pencil
Public schools are unsafe even from the teachers. Past time getting kids out of there. Far too many reports of this nature...and that’s just those who are caught.
I wonder how many times this one thing went into the other one thing
We had an Algebra teacher that was rumored to be doing the same thing with Senior jocks. I was a Sophomore, she was gone my Junior year.
To paraphrase RP McMurphy:
“He was 15 going on 30, if you know what I mean Doc...”
I don’t know if anyone could be surprised anymore. Teaching is not a profession anymore as evidenced by the increasingly worsening turnover.
Juicy Fruit
