The radical Christians are found in the rural areas. Their towns are defenseless, they have almost no cops and their firemen are volunteers. They have to borrow cops and firemen from neighboring jurisdictions miles away in order to handle anything big. And they think they're safe out there. Forget burning cities, cities are on our sides. It's time for rural areas to feel the heat.
You show up 100 deep in every rural town in a 50 mile radius intent on revolution, you'll crash their system and make them pay.
And if you all think I'm kidding, I'm dead serious. This was caused by backward ass rural conservatives operating out of a Christianized worldview (even if theyre not Christian, they're heavily influenced by it), they were the ones who voted for Trump in '16; those disillusioned redneck/white trash/blue collar (to quote a country song) types who flipped massively for the GOP. Punish them. Punish their towns. They say "BLM burned the cities to the ground, " I say "let them see firsthand what it's like when a community is truly burned to the ground. They want a civil war? They should have been careful what they asked and voted for."
I'm not the organizing type. But maybe someone who is can organize that. Start in a certain state in the Midwest often called "the south's middle finger to America." It's literally what the south would've looked like if it wasn't reconstructed.

Yeah - the folks in Bellevue blocked off their streets (looting nearby). Both Redmond and Kirkland had armed neighbors walking the sidewalks which kept the BLM protest more like a parade instead.
Farther out (Monroe or somewhere?) some BLM people showed up and there the armed neighbors didn’t just stand there, they confronted them and chased them off. I don’t know if they actually pointed their guns at them or not, but the news said they chased them out - so... IIRC that time it wasn’t a planned BLM thing, so it was good to see a rapid response by the neighbors.
The weapon has never been fired
Sounds like I need to get that new stock or at least some gel pad
SHOTGUNS ARE NOT MY FORTE, AND I DON’T KNOW YOUR EXPERIENCE LEVEL, BUT I’LL VENTURE MY TWO BITS.
FIRST OF ALL THE MOSSBERG 500 SERIES HAS A WELL DESERVED REPUTATION FOR RELIABLE, FLAWLESS FUNCTION.
SECOND, THE LENGTH OF PULL (THE DISTANCE FROM THE END OF THE BUTT STOCK TO THE TRIGGER) IS VERY CRITICAL TO AUTHORITATIVE HANDLING, SO PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO WHAT FEELS RIGHT TO YOU. A MILITARY STYLE ADJUSTABLE STOCK MIGHT BE BEST, EVEN IF LESS ROBUST. I FIND A SHORTER LENGTH OF PULL PREFERABLE TO A LONGER ONE.
THIRD, DESPITE RECOIL ABSORBING BUTT STOCKS AND PADS, SHOTGUNS, BY THE NATURE OF THEIR POWER, ARE VERY KINETIC AND REQUIRE A STRONG GRIP AND A STRONG STANCE, OPPOSITE FOOT FORWARD, SHOULDERS AND TORSO LEANING INTO THE DIRECTION THE GUN IS POINTED IN, BUTT TIGHT INTO THE SHOULDER...NOTHING IS GOING TO ELIMINATE THE NEED FOR THAT POSTURE. (SHORTER SHELLS FOR CLOSE RANGE WILL HELP).
FOURTH, AND MOST IMPORTANT, THE PUMP ACTION SHOTGUN REQUIRES LOTS OF TRAINING, MORE THAN YOU THINK, AND THEN SOME. THE SEQUENCE FROM FIRE TO FIRE TO FIRE HAS TO BE SO WELL MASTERED THAT IT IS NO LONGER PART OF THE EVENT. TRAIN WITH FULL POWER LOADS AT LEAST HALF OF THE TIME (IMHO).
NOW, AS FOR CONCEALMENT IN AN ANKLE HOLSTER...
YOU’VE GOT A WORLD CLASS PUMP ACTION SHOTGUN THERE. TRAIN, TRAIN, TRAIN, THEN SOME MORE. GOOD LUCK!
AND FOR DEFENSIVE SITUATIONS, ALWAYS LOOK FOR THE NEXT GUY AND DON’T EVER BE IN A HURRY TO CONCLUDE IT’S OVER AND COME OUT FROM BEHIND COVER. TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND ANOTHER CAREFUL LOOK AROUND.
ALSO, FOR HOME DEFENSE, YOU MIGHT CONSIDER THE 20 GA. THE RECOIL IS MUCH MORE MANAGEABLE, AND WITHIN THE CONFINES AND DISTANCES OF A HOUSE THE DIFFERENCE IN PELLET SPREAD AND TERMINAL EFFECT (NO PUN) IS NEGLIGIBLE AND CERTAINLY NOT NOTICED BY THE TARGET. SOMETHING FOR YOU TO CONSIDER AND EXPLORE.(ALSO, CONSIDER IN YOUR PLAN THAT A SHOTGUN IS USELESS IF A BAD GUY GRABS A LOVED ONE AS A SHIELD. YA CAN’T SNIPE WITH A SHOTGUN.)
IF THE WEAPON HAS NEVER BEEN FIRED YOU MAY FIND A WOODEN OR PLASTIC DOWEL IN THE TUBULAR MAGAZINE WHICH LIMITS THE SHELL CAPACITY TO A LEGAL NUMBER FOR HUNTING REGS (USUALLY 3), REMOVE IT FOR FULL CAPACITY CAPABILITY. (IT MIGHT NOT EVEN BE THERE, SEE HOW MANY SHELLS IT HOLDS—3, 2 3/4 IT’S THERE, 5, 2 3/4, IT AIN’T) REMOVING THE DOWEL IS EASY ENOUGH TO DO BUT NOT EASY TO DESCRIBE HOW IT’S DONE. ASK SOMEONE OR CHECK ON LINE. DON’T THROW IT AWAY. YOU MAY WANT TO ARRANGE A HUNTING ACCIDENT ONE DAY.
IF YOU’RE AN OLD HAND WHO KNOWS ALL THIS STUFF ALREADY, IT NEVER HURTS TO BE REMINDED...ESPECIALLY ABOUT THE ANKLE HOLSTER.
AGAIN, GOOD LUCK.
Ended REAL badly for him in that flick, tho, IIRC.
Thanks. I was actually thinking about a 20 gauge as well, given the comments from the other day, by several folks.
I’ll definitely be keeping my Mossberg 500 for sure.
Yes, there is a big difference between tearing up commercial/government areas in cities and entering places where the children of working people play and sleep - nobody will risk harm to their loved ones. I didn’t see any women or children cowering, or their menfolk forced to defend them, when these radicals tore up the business areas because they don’t live there.
The cities here in NJ were remarkably quiet/calm during the past few years (besides the normal drug-trade related mostly black-on-black violence); I believe the black mayors put the word out that these areas were in no position to chase out the last few remaining employers and visitors.
There will have to be discrete agreements made to practise the “Silence of Skidmore, Mo” should such small towns be attacked. I’m referring to the Bully of Skidmore that was killed but no one ever fessed up as to who did it.
We had a BLM group threaten to come to our county and tear down the Confederate statue. They were told “You may go into that county but you won’t come out”.
They canceled that trip

“nuff said.
They probably have ordered it for themselves already!
I have no intention of letting zombies within shotgun range...
I figured the gals would guard the homestead, sitting in a chair in front of the door with a shotgun in their lap. Blow ‘em to hell gals.
Definitely. These Tennessee women — the ones in their 70s and 80s, especially — they and their guns could be terrifying to any threat. I told Hubby that when/if the SHTF I hope I’m with my quilting group; I would be safe.
Very nice! One of your best.
“Dense packing helps one bullet do the job of many.”
They now call that the, ‘Alec Baldwin Effect.’ ;)
LOL! Great logo.
That was pretty frigging Awesome!
