The House of Representatives on Wednesday voted for an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act, making it easier to report unidentified flying objects or UFOs.
The amendment creates a secure reporting system for UFOs and would also "prevent unauthorized public reporting or compromise of properly classified military and intelligence systems, programs and related activities."
It’s meant for government workers and military personnel to report a sighting without fears of retaliation and asks for the "immediate sharing" of phenomena "previously prohibited from reporting under any non-disclosure written or oral agreement, order, or other instrumentality or means."
Rep. Mike Gallagher, R-Wis., who co-sponsored the bill, said Congress "must ensure the military and intelligence community are armed with the best possible information, capital, and scientific resources to defeat our enemies and maintain military and technology superiority."
He added the amendment would "play an important role in furthering Congress’ ability to fact gather and further prove or disprove the origin and threat nature of whatever seems to be flying in our skies."

As a clever Freeper (can’t remember your name, but you know who you are) said about this whistleblower issue, the MIB (whoever they are) can override this new freedom to talk by threatening witnesses with “unofficial” negative consequences.
they have the space aliens but are keeping them under wraps
cuz they refuse to talk to anyone but TRUMP!
Reporting UFO sightings has been hard?
Since when?
The internet is full of stories of people who “have seen UFO’s”.
The country is rapidly going to $hit, and this is what congress is focusing on.
aliens are the least of my worries....geez....wthc
The protection is for government employees who face retaliation when they report UFOs.
I had a buddy in the Air Force who had an encounter that damaged his aircraft. There were three witnesses to the incident. They all shared the same story. The investigators refused to accept the account. The pilot was blamed and got an official reprimand that effectively ended his career.
And this is important?
Only if you want Americans to start chasing UFO’s while ignoring the Communist takeover of the USA.
Harry Reid was the first to “suggest” the gov is hiding something.
That should tell you all you need to know.
JOe Biden and Kamala Harris are space aliens.
That fact explains their many difficulties is using their human clone bodies during episodes of making speech.
That makes sense... they ARE smarter than earthlings
"Stop everything you are doing and focus on the communist takeover of America.""No breakfast, lunch, or dinner. No discussions with family about anything EXCEPT the communist takeover of America. No trips to the bathroom...just go in your diapers like the President."
"And absolutely NO COMMENTING ON FR!"
;-)
This is just sooo important. I know of so many people who have been persecuted and prosecuted for telling about the UFOs they see. It is a terrible situation and I am gratified that congress has finally acted on this very important problem for all people.
NOT!!! Downright stupid.
If you are a military pilot and report a UFO, you get moved to a desk job.
If you are part of a group that has a sighting, you are forced to sign an NDA and told to shut up.
Just a distraction for the horrible government ,LOL
"Mr. Chairman, given that our expert witness, Freeper Sequoyah101, knows no one who has been persecuted and/or prosecuted for telling about UFO sightings, I move that we terminate this hearing."
Heard from around the chamber, "amen, amen...AMEN!!!"
BTW these encounters have been reported by the Navy as occurring since 2004 and still occurring almost daily.
That dark money program must one hell of a big one even the House of Representatives are in on it.
This puts a lid of control over anything worth knowing or sharing.
Do you know anyone who has been persecuted or prosecuted for reporting a UFO sighting?
It is an opinion forum. That is my opinion but it is also my observation.
You have your view, I have mine.
Early on there was a small, high level group of government officials in charge of UFO’s. One of the members was an admiral who wanted to go public with what they knew. He was supposedly snuffed out for it.
I would call that hard.
