Early on there was a small, high level group of government officials in charge of UFO’s. One of the members was an admiral who wanted to go public with what they knew. He was supposedly snuffed out for it.

There used to be a TV program back in the 50’s about UFU’s, run by people from the military it appears. Not sure what happened to it.
