Boy, I bet that makes Jonah feel a lot safer.
What? Oh. Never mind.

“My most major suprise here, is that they measure in MILES per hour.”
That reminds me of when the chicken ran up to the farmer and shouted “The sky is falling!”.
The farmer said “Oh my God, a talking chicken!”.
The miles per hour thing is a bit odd.

I am surprised that there isn’t a mandate for the return of the 55 MPH speed limit in the USA.
I expect it any day now from Slo Joe.

Ministers say a 20mph speed limit will lower road collisions and traffic noise and encourage people to walk and cycle. Meanwhile, Ministers will continue to be driven to work every day so they can plan how to coerce other people to walk and cycle.

Reminds me one of the requirements of the wwII jeep was that it was geared low enough to match a marching pace. This works for prisoners and soldiers. What are they preparing for?

This is already happening in many areas of Portland. I’m sure it’s also occurred in other bastions of stupid on the left coast.

Just build ‘em model T’s with dual fuel capibilities. Easy to maintain 20mph and 16mpg

It's a little known fact but when the UK switched to the metric system, they kept some imperial measures in place.
Miles is one of them.
Pints is another - due to the fact that it just does not sound right to tell the bartender you would like a .473 liter of Guinness.

Miles is one of them. Because "I can see for kilometers and kilometers", just doesn't quite have the same ring to it.

A lot of songs wouldn't sound right if we had to convert them to metric.
"3218.688 Kilometers" by the Pretenders.
"Big 25.4 Centimeter" by Aerosmith
"1.8288 Meters and Rising" by Johnny Cash

> so the World Economic Forum controls a lot of so called leaders in the world and is destroying everythingThe WEF and The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation are both involved in a lot of the same projects, which are all bad for America and the West, and some are outright creepy.
Here is a prime example of one they both were involved in a couple of years ago : Event 201, October 18, 2019
