Starting Tuesday it will run around the clock for nearly four years at a record energy of 13.6 trillion electronvolts

Powered by windmills and solar panels...right?

Remember this euro-peons while you are sitting there freezing in the dark for the next 4 years.

What a waste. Greenies should be livid. Just think of how many electric cars that could charge. Or fry.

And all this will accomplish what exactly? Like to know what the cost of all this is also.

I once knew a girl named Suzy Hadron.
She collided very well and often.

I am in favor ofthe CERN Laboratory turning up the valve.

On some websites, there is an evangelical flood of woe-screamers offering all sorts of esoteric horrors.

I’ve bought my popcorn.

The sky darkens, the earth rumbles, and from an infinitesimal point of intense light a tremendous cloud filled with lightning takes the shape of Hillary Clinton's face, thunderously cackling "Where is your god now?"

Or nothing could happen. Could go either way.

I call this proton abortion. This is blatant proton abuse and in some cases proton genocide. Where is the proton lobby? Native born protons want to be left alone in their own nucleus. Its criminal to tear down their wall. It’s just not right to blast them into tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, and very tiny bits. One of these days the protons will fight back and poof.

Massive Black Holes accelerate particles to energies much higher than anything we can produce here in Earth. They are the source of the mysterious Cosmic Rays that have been confounding science for decades. There are actually observatories that can see the tell tale signature light of these Cosmic rays as they hit the atmosphere and even observatories that can detect the high energy neutrinos as well. All of this provides further information that our own atom smashers could never match.
