PASADENA, Calif. - Esteban Chavez had worked at UPS for four years. His family says he had dreams of moving up in the company, perhaps getting into management. But sadly at the age of 24, he died suddenly while on the job.
One day after celebrating his 24th birthday, Chavez collapsed on a driveway in Pasadena while delivering packages on June 25.

A family member has set up a GoFundMe account to pay for funeral expenses. So far, it has collected a little over $24K. What did middle to lower middle class people do for funeral expenses years ago, before GoFundMe type accounts?

Moderna vaccine has been a dismal failure in killing any of the 7 members in my immediate family ranging in age from 28 to 82. We all had 4 jabs, not a single adverse effect, one family member did catch covid, bu the vaccine did it’s job by creating additional anti-bodies and recovery was very quick with only mild symptoms.
And unlike Biden, I did not hide in the basement for 15 months since the first jab. Have done 50+ restaurant visits, 5 Caribbean cruises, 200+ visits to stores, 50 visits to cancer hospital to escort wife who is in her 5th year of fighting cancer. I dunno if Moderna vaccine is effective in creating anti-bodies, but how else can anyone explain why I or the other 5 family members never came down with any symptoms of covid?

You would think so, but I was born in India, and spent my first 20 years of life there, and saw several heat strokes.
Hot days are so common there, no one thinks much of hot weather, and that can get one in trouble. My town had 115F during every summer afternoons.
