Jeff Bezos calls out Joe Biden's latest inflation claim: 'Straight misdirection or a deep misunderstanding'

Previously, Bezos has criticized the Biden administration over its inflation claims

After President Joe Biden called on companies running gas stations to lower the price of gas, Jeff Bezos accused the U.S. president of misleading the public or said he lacked a "basic" understanding of the forces that actually drive prices.

"Ouch. Inflation is far too important a problem for the White House to keep making statements like this," Bezos said in a tweet Saturday evening.

In the initial tweet, Biden made a direct appeal to gas stations and encouraged them to simply charge less for gasoline.

The president urged compliance, without any hesitation.

"And do it now," he ordered.

It is my belief that he is a Center-Left-libertarian. Socially liberal, economically more center right. At least he was back in high school.

Good point about Barabbas, but we must proclaim from the rooftops that it is the policies and not the personality causing the chaos.

The shift on the left has already begun in earnest.... the problem is not the “policies” but the “personality (Biden”).

This is a lie. Regardless of who we view as the President and how articulate and photogenic they are, it is the wrong policies causing the pain and its just beginning.

It s a pennies business. Only one of 6 is profitable.

It is going to get worse. Gas stations make profit on consumer items like soda, candy, and incidentals - not gas.

As consumers have less money for non-essential items they naturally spend less leading to less profits for businesses.

The spiral has begun.

now look at this folksy tale naming the grandfather by Bezos brother

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/11/17/jeff-bezos-learned-this-critical-business-skill-from-his-grandfather.html

While all of that may be true...notice what he leaves out.

If these two people are the same person...you dont get to that position without significant connections AND it is well within reason to ponder if Amazon had some connection to the intelligence world

One of the deep divers found a relative who was listed as gas stations owner. Maybe he just had little owner of gas stations...or not. Who knows. Jeff doesn’t like to talk about it except his adopted grandfather immigrant

—”Find me an article where he names his grandparents”When you have the time take a look at Wikipedia.

—”Bezos’ maternal grandfather was Lawrence Preston Gise, a regional director of the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) in Albuquerque.[25] Gise retired early to his family’s ranch near Cotulla, Texas, where Bezos would spend many summers in his youth.[26] Bezos would later purchase this ranch and expand it from 25,000 acres (10,117 ha) to 300,000 acres (121,406 ha).”

He is rightfully proud of his heritage and it is out there.

If’n you want to drill down...

you aren’t getting my point.

Show me where BEZOS talks about his grandfather by name and that he headed up the Atomic Energy Commission or worked at DARPA

What I have seen is the old folksy rancher tale. I am not even sure you can find an article where Bezos says his name

https://www.newspapers.com/clip/35782841/lawrence-preston-gise-sr-death/

You got any where Bezos talks about how his grandfather worked for DARPA?

so far all those that keep missing the point... Bezos and family spin a PR tale. The reality is that the father in law of the grandfather was a rich Rancher by the name of Strait - related to the singer. Grandfather wasnt a folksy rancher. he was a govt employee. A high ranking one. When he retired he went off to the father in laws business. But somehow...Bezos doesn't seem to talk to much about it. Maybe it doesn't fit the narrative he wants to put forth...or maybe there is some DARPA connection he doesnt want to draw attention to

I have always maintained Joe Biden knows exactly what he is doing. Despite his obvious decline. He has always been stupid. He has ALWAYS been a vindictive bully. He wants us to pay for not adoring him the same way Obama was worshiped and adored. Biden wants us to hurt. He doesn’t need any puppet master to bring that out of him.

I totally agree. Biden has always been nasty, vindictive and vicious. He will use the power of the Government to destroy anyone he merely disagrees with. I cringe when l hear people say they kind feel sorry for him when he would shove a knife into them if it served his purpose.

The Dems in leadership are ok with seeing our economy destroyed as long as they are the bosses while it happens....

And they are so arrogant that they don’t think that they will be affected by all the destruction that they bring upon the country.
