Sorry, I've no link to this (am looking too) but was watching Newmax's Rob Schmitt opening and he's reporting some NBC reporter/journalist is reporting that the SS agents that were involved in this so-called falsehood that DJT grabbed the wheel of the Beast is fabricated and that they are willing to testify. Again, just heard this and will post the transcript if/when I find it.

But that aside, let’s assume he did demand to be taken to the Capitol. What was his motive? To participate, or to try and calm things down?
The demonkraps’ visceral hatred of anything Trump is so deep, they believe anything ... this is along the lines of the Russia hoax and the Clinton dossier about nefarious activities in a Russian hotel. And they accuse conservatives as tin-hat conspiracy believers. LOL.

They are still trying to manufacture a narrative. The problem is their attempts keep falling short or falling apart.
If the tale of POTUS attempting to grab the steering wheel were true, that would have made headlines MONTHS ago.
They do not realize they can so easily be taken for fools by anyone with a juicy story. It is almost laughable.
It really makes no difference. What little damage is done. Hundreds of newspaper articles and evening news programs lead with the Jan 6th testimony. If you are inclined to believe any of that, then your mind is already decided.
