A TEN YEAR probation? What in the world? The police are grasping at straws to harass her. Good for her for checking with the courts to see if she would be in violation of her probation even though it was so long ago.
The Uvalde PD just keeps digging deeper and deeper.

These police who stood down and whoever instigated the shooting all need to be in prison for life. They deserve even death. It’s too bad they can only receive one death.
courts have ruled repeatedly that the police have no duty to save anyone. You can sue them, but it will probably get tossed out
If she is being harassed by one of the officers that was on the scene and did nothing, it is time to remove such officers from this existence and send them forward for judgement.
The police were not merely incompetent, they were ordered to stand down. They are accessories to a deliberately engineered mass murder.
It makes me wonder if this would occur in many police departments across the nation. I have lost all trust in government.

There’s nobody to sue here, although it IS an interesting twist that the PD was ACTIVELY RESTRAINING PARENTS and hindering them from saving their kids.
Warren vs DC might not hold here. In fact, in Warren, the notion that the Police are they to protect is formally quashed. Police have no such responsibility.
In Uvalde, the Police in addition to doing nothing, restrained parents from their ability to protect their children. Knowing Warren vs DC relieves police from protecting citizens, they should have stood aside and not hindered rescue attempts.
There probably is grounds to sue I guess.

I hope she wins her lawsuit. I hope everyone who lost a child or whose child was at the school that day collects big time.
The only downside to my wish, is that a fair and honest settlement to the victims would bankrupt Uvalde Texas. Property taxes would have to triple in order to fairly pay out the victims. However, citizens get the school, police and local government that they vote for. I hope this is a wake up call to Uvalde and every other community in the country to please, please vote conservatively and wisely. No more Pete Arredondo‘s.

The cops in this need to be given a dull knife and a private place to do the right thing. Not worth the dynamite it would take to blow them up.
