Nope, it's inarguably FDR.

He was so bad, we amended the Constitution in record time to prevent future Presidents from abusing power like he did.

Makes you wonder how historians can claim he had a 70+% approval rating when he died in office.

“Violent crime is increasing in large cities and drug overdose deaths have reached record levels.”

To be fair, these are not directly his fault. Dem policies in general are the cause of this, not the biden admin’s policies.

Although the open border could maybe be the cause of both...?

And it couldn’t happen at a worse time. Buchanan’s disastrous presidency is a good comparison.

Usually these claims of ‘Worst (insert position here)’ are too often topical and give too much weight to the current politicians. For example Clinton was never the worst President, though there were a lot of screams that he was. LBJ and Wilson easily kept that title over Bill. But Biden is actually a worthy candidate for that title. Obama was terrible, less for his overt actions than his program of replacing real Americans in the bureaucracy with evil progressive activists. But I can’t think of a President who created more overt harm in as short a time as Biden. Wilson did stick us in WWI and all that resulted in. He was a racist who banned Blacks from higher level govt jobs. So it’s a hard act to follow and I’m not sure Biden has gone there yet. But he is close and certainly has the potential.

I don’t consider Andrew Johnson an especially bad president. After all, he got the French out of Mexico and acquired Alaska.

A good argument can be made for FDR being the worst president. Among other things, he turned the federal government from a relatively small organization into a huge, money-devouring monster.

But FDR does not get my vote, as he was an incredible war-time president. The stakes were high, and almost everything he did there was correct.

Republicans need to get inside the administration’s OODA loop. Raise new issues constantly that aren’t covered in the press secretary’s preprinted answer book. We need a theme along the lines of the Contract With America and tie these issues and initiatives into it.

Perhaps “Independence” buttressed by:

This would be a complete outflanking of the left, hitting them as actual liberals. This would appeal to the traditional Democrats who sense they’re being taken for granted by the “Men in the ladies’ room” party.

Self-preservation was his primary motivation, and he and the leftists even accused the Republicans of aiding the Germans during his last election campaign.

“The descendants of Presidents James Buchanan”

The only President who never married. I have never heard that he had any descendants.

> I don’t consider Andrew Johnson an especially bad president. <

I agree. And I’ll give Buchanan a pass as well. Buchanan was bewildered by events, and he really had nothing in the past to guide him. He just got caught up in the hurricane.

So, yeah. I’d strike both Buchanan and Johnson from the list, and add George W. Bush. Bush had the lessons of Vietnam right in front of him. And yet he repeated the errors LBJ made.

But, wait. It gets worse. Thanks To W’s stupidity, Islam is on the march. They are winning everywhere.

James Buchanan and his “special friend,” former VP Rufus King we’re referred to as “Aunt Nancy and Uncle Fancy” by those in Washington.
