So just a complaint here since I can’t complain to the company. My wife bought me a 22 caliber heritage Roughrider. It’s been sent back to the manufacturer three times due to the cylinder completely locking up while shooting.,So tonight I tried to shoot it and it wouldn’t fire a single round. I hate the cast shade on the company but there’s no way to contact them and let them know of your problems
Mine works great with 22 shorts and long rifles. Sorry to hear you got the other end of the bell curve.
Oh my goodness. The court of free republic has spoken. I knew better than to buy one of these things but I failed to tell my wife.
I suppose I should be punished.

I’m not quite sure what you’re saying here. So my best response will be this. I play the odds. A no-name firearm might be great. Or maybe not.
I’d rather pay the extra money, and get a Colt or a Smith & Wesson. If you disagree, that’s okay. As for me, I’ve had too many jams on the firing line with second-rate stuff. So I go with quality, and not with price.
Your experience might be different. As I noted earlier, that’s okay.
Very rugged and light weight as well. I took out many a water moccasin with that gun.
You aught to at least get a chance to deny it!
yer kidding, right?

There ya are.
I have had mine 10 or more years, it works well, accurite as well.
Mine works just fine in both .22lr and .22 mag. It’s pretty accurate too. Quirky though with the safety on a revolver.
That’s cheating... You did a search.
Please don’t. You will be shocked by the price and parts are very hard to come by.

Sorry to pop that bubble for you. There are waaayyy better rifles out there and cheaper too.
....I got one at a gun show several years ago and have put many rounds through it..never had a problem....two backstrap screws backed out and I called Heritage and they sent me a complete set of screws immediately....otherwise it is a fun gun to shoot........
You sound like a prudent investor.
Get a Ruger Mark IV 22/45. Threaded for a suppressor and has a rail on top for a red dot.
Loads of fun.
Shooting should be fun, not a pain in the ass.
Like many at the buyback, I invested the profits in lead futures.
I guess you missed the part where I said I’ve sent it back to them
So one of my kids is a young, single highly compensated aerospace engineer with a penchant for buying guns.
He just came over today with his latest acquisitions, including anHeritage rough rider.
My own personal rule is if I need to send a gun back more than one time I am getting rid of it.
I’ve always wanted one of those. A “friend” has an SR-22, big fun!!
More fun you will not have at the range.
Less noise, less recoil, allowing for quicker follow up shots.
Add in steel targets and it is about a such fun as one can have with their clothes on.
