Billionaire media baron Rupert Murdoch is divorcing Jerry Hall after six years of marriage, it was reported today.
This will be 91-year-old Murdoch's fourth divorce - and his shortest marriage - however Hall, 65, had not previously been married before tying the knot with the media titan, who is 23 years her senior, in March 2016.
She was previously in a long-term relationship with Rolling Stones rocker Mick Jagger, with whom she shares four children, however the two never wed during their 22-year relationship.
Murdoch, who is worth $17.7 billion, has six children in total: daughter Prudence MacLeod with his first wife Patricia Booker, daughter Elisabeth and sons Lachlan and James with his second wife Anna Mann, and daughter Chloe and Grace, who he shares with his third wife Wendi Deng.
Details of Murdoch and Hall's divorce have not yet been shared, with the New York Times simply reporting that it had spoken with 'two people with knowledge of the decision', however the couple do not share any children together.

Good grief. What on earth is the point of divorcing at 91? Has he changed his FB status to single yet? Or “it’s complicated”.
At their ages, not surprising they don’t share any children together.
He should have kept the one who protected him from the pie-thrower.
Money. No doubt he has a prenup.
But their state may have a law whereby you can take against the will if still married.
She doesn’t look too upset about it.
Amazing how much plastic surgery and botox treatments one can get from a good divorce settlement. I’m sure she got lots from divorcing Jagger!
Rupert says “Jerry Hall? Been there, done that!...Next?!”
they have a 200 million property in Montana..and yep...take against the will

It could be a prenup thing. Remember Ellen Barkin’s billionaire husband dumped right before she would have come into big money.
Billions of $, 6 kids and multiple wives - the battle over the estate will be epic.
I don’t think they were ever legally married. But she probably got plenty anyway.
if domiciled in Montana...which I dont know that Rupert is...

Using the writers own numbers my arithmetic says 26 years age difference, not 23 that the tardy journalist and editor put forth.
Not sure how it is in whatever jurisdiction Jagger and Hall lived, but in PRC (Politically Repressive Canada), it would be called a common law marriage and the end of it, a divorce, from what I understand of Canadian law.
