"This delta is one of the best locations on Mars for the rover to look for signs of past microscopic life," NASA said."
Microscopic life created "trash"? And how did a tiny scrap of "trash" outlast the remains of the civilization which would have created it? "All of the monuments of that vast civilization have long since turned to dust, but this candy wrapper survived!"

Perseverance doesn't have much time to admire trash. It's now entering the prime of its mission as it explores a dried-up river delta in the Jezero Crater. I'm sure it landing material/debris. But it would funny if it turned out they find that same piece 150 years and it's revealed the material not from, designed or manufactured on earth.

Three billion years at least....it must have evolved. It was in a lake of water and got bombarded with cosmic rays, uv light, heat from the thermal vents on Mars ,meteors, and there it is. We are witnessing the beginning of abiogenesis.
