Amber Heard is 'being cut from Aquaman 2 and will have her $2 million role recast' sources have claimed - just hours after the actress landed herself at the center of yet another scandal by repeating her allegations of abuse against ex-husband Johnny Depp, despite being found guilty of defamation for accusing him of sexual assault.
According to Just Jared, the 36-year-old actress - who has already completed filming on the sequel to the 2018 sci-fi movie in which she starred alongside Jason Momoa - was officially dropped from the cast after Warner Bros 'screentested the movie', which is due to premiere in December, and concluded that Heard's scenes should be reshot with another actress.
'Warner Bros. decided to recast Amber Heard's role after screentesting the movie,' a source claimed to the website. 'They are going to be doing reshoots with [her former co-stars] Jason Momoa and Nicole Kidman.'
DailyMail.com has contacted Warner Bros. and a spokesperson for Heard for comment.
Serious doubts were already cast over Heard's future with the DC franchise during her and Depp's marathon six-week defamation trial, during which Warner Bros executive Walter Hamada testified that producers had already considered recasting the actress over concerns about her lack of 'natural chemistry' with co-star Momoa.
An online petition to get Heard dropped from the sequel was also started towards the end of the legal proceedings - gaining 4.6 million signatures in a matter of weeks.

I am sure there are many discussions centering “Do we keep her because of the buzz it will generate...or do we cut her because of the buzz she is going to generate”...and how are they going to use her to promote the movie. What if she goes off the rails and talks about Depp. It’s a PR disaster waiting to happen

Survivor had a contestant that dresses up as Aquaman to help special needs kids. He could be a stand in for Momoa in terms of body.
One of the challenges was an ocean challenge. The water was so turbulent there was no way to complete the task for every single contestant except Jonathan. He was an absolute beast. They gave him the Aquaman type of edit. They had to stop the challenge because Jonathan was the only one that could do it.

I missed the “borderline” anything. Lol. I thought Curry said AmbermustbeHeard was sort of Full-blown everything— actually tested “consistent” with personality disorder(s) and also with Narcissistic traits.
Ignorant of clinical diagnosis, to a layman her behavior appeared noticeably disjointed.
It actually may explain why she appeared so unbelievable, she just doesn’t seem to match up with herself, in her own skin.
Her drama was “off” and so over-the-top it was distracting from her sad, wailing tale of woe, she sounded loud and full of herself, in charge, bitter and mad, but hardly abused, and even mean in the audio recordings, articulate and heady, powerful, but wouldn’t let Depp speak.

For Johnny Depp, he must have seen Grace Kelly beauty, but got Virginia Wolfe on a binge, for a wife.
Not to say that he wasn’t quite open about his bad habits for drug and drink, and of his avoidance issues..

I didn’t see all of her testimony. I just picked up in news reports.
I will say this about my own experience. I think my relative when through a variety of “you have this disorder” but because it is so difficult to diagnose the diagnosis would change throughout the years.
Amber clearly has something wrong with her. Maybe things overlap. She just opened herself up to another lawsuit
I guess it doesn’t matter. She can’t pay the first one anyway. Maybe her homeowners insurance will pay some of it.
I personally think it is probable that she might have taunted and egged him on and in his drunken state he might have hit her to try to protect himself. He had a habit of running away from conflict generated from childhood. She wanted to egg it on. He was a battered spouse. There is no doubt about that. You can hear her admit it on tape
