31 members of white nationalist group arrested near Idaho Pride event (arrived in a U-Haul truck, all dressed the same, masks were never removed)

Dozens affiliated with a white nationalist group were arrested on Saturday in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, near a Pride event in the city.

In a press conference Saturday evening, police shared that they had received a tip concerning a large group wearing matching outfits and masks.

“At approximately 1:38 this afternoon we received a telephone call from a concerned citizen who reported that approximately 20 people jumped into a UHAUL wearing masks. They had shields and ‘looked like a little army,’” said Coeur d’Alene Chief Of Police Lee White.

The 31 individuals were detained hours after the tip was shared and were found to be affiliated with white nationalist group Patriot Front.

White said that members of the group, many of whom were dressed in Patriot Front paraphernalia, hailed from at least 11 different states.

The members were arrested for conspiracy to riot after the police uncovered plans to cause disturbances at the Pride parade and throughout the city.

White expressed appreciation for the tip from an observant citizen and said that he is satisfied with placing the large group in jail as police sift through further evidence.

“In my opinion, I would gladly arrest 31 individuals who were coming to riot in our city for a misdemeanor rather than have them participate in some sort of seriously disruptive event, which is exactly what they were planning in the downtown area,” White said.

Kootenai County Sheriff Bob Norris expressed a similar sentiment, saying that the group needed to be placed in jail for the time being.

So I guess the illegal protesters at the private homes of some scotus judges were arrested also?

The map is not the territory.

The best areas are rural—in any state.

The crazies have taken over almost all urban and inner suburban areas.

A police officer leaks to the media that “Patriot Front” includes more than one informant.

Reporter: “But how did you know?”

Officer: “We have informants.”

(It’s toward the end of this video.)

Except I don’t believe it does. Just because somebody makes a call, or “provides a tip”, isn’t evidence of a crime. Your 1st, 4th, and 5th Amendments are still active. They don’t disappear because somebody makes a call, which could just be a lie or a misunderstanding - it’s hearsay.

They should have “reasonable articulable suspicion” of a crime. What crime? Going somewhere to counter-protest isn’t a crime. Being a group isn’t. Who is determining their “white nationalist” status? Even if they are, so what, not a crime. The “conspiracy” claim, to do what? Protest? Do they have evidence they were conspiring to commit violence? Theft? ...more than likely just “offensive behavior” in-front of the LBGTQIA+ crowd.

This looks like nothing more than police arresting a bunch of people that they didn’t want to deal with at a pride parade. Of course the same wouldn’t happen to Antifa.

...lawsuit written all over it imho.

Thanks Trav. I keep a collection of memes of this bunch. They must be subjected to non-stop harassment at the office.

Imagine being a new hire there and trying to keep a straight face.

“Who is determining their “white nationalist” status?”

The FBI informants reported that the other FBI informants were “dangerous white nationalists”.

;-)

Wake up—only one member of the group was from Idaho—the rest were brought in from far away...

(Hint—need to cross state lines to create a federal case/crime...)

This stuff is in your face blatant law enforcement fraud.

There may only be one or two actual citizens in the group whose Constitutional rights are being trampled—could be zero!

They need to throw in a few blubbery land behemoths for verisimilitude. Or maybe patriot front just has high standards and poundage limits like some fed academy.

I wonder how come no police department anywhere in the country EVER stage a mass arrest of Antifa or Black Lies Matter rioters.

It always reminds of back in the late 1990s when the Earth Liberation Front was bombing, and burning all over the western US. The FBI said that they had almost no information about this group. I looked on the net and found that the ELF had a huge website complete with video reports of almost all their attacks, a manifesto, and a downloadable PDF file on bomb making. I wondered why the FBI didn’t find out who owned that site, that may have been a good start in finding out who was behind the ELF.

didn’tthey allow nazi group to parade in chicago suburb of skoki?

excerpt:

In January 1978, the Illinois Supreme Court decided that the NSPA march was constitutionally protected, including the right to wear swastikas, ruling that “the display of the swastika, as offensive to the principles of a free nation as the memories it recalls may be, is symbolic political speech intended to convey to the public the beliefs of those who display it.” In February, a federal court went even further, ruling that the ordinances intended to prevent the march were unconstitutional.

The NSPA march was held on June 25, 1978, though the march never materialized. About 20 or so Nazis congregated for only ten minutes, and throngs of Jewish and other groups drowning out their voices. Jewish organizations planned counter marches not only in Skokie, but in New York City and other places.

Maybe so but, I’ve seen this type of thing used as an excuse for “reasonable suspicion” more than once. Of course that doesn’t mean that technically under unbiased examination of the laws their action is justified. However, we all know that leftists (both government and judiciary) don’t operate this way. It’s all about the LE, DA and the frigging leftist judge sitting on that bench, frankly.

Funny how the arresting officers didn’t make them take off their masks.

Gotta protect that cover.

Our side has resources, like Dinesh D’Souza and James O’Keefe, who can track down these individuals, just as the Antifa affiliated “anti-hate” groups have done. If the Patriot Front members have military or LEO affiliation, that can be traced. That way, we can know that Patriot Front is really a Federal or ADL front or if it really is a self-funded, independent organization.

No bail paid, they’re all in jail. Total BS event. The FBI was already there and are “investigating”. All 31 look like their in great shape and all wearing a full face mask? The first thing that would have happened if it was a legit arrest would have been to “take the damn mask off.”

According to someone on Twitter (for what that's worth) who claims to know some of these these guys, turns out they were Dutch Marines here in the U.S. on training at one of the regional military bases. They were sightseeing in DC that day and were apparently very amused by becoming in internet meme.

It sounds plausible if you look at the shorts they're wearing, which have a more European styling.

Is the FBI purchasing khaki pants in bulk? It’s like they’re thumbing their nose at the public. They know the operation is fake and they don’t even try and hide it .

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

they’re trying to put a face on the most dangerous threat to america’s security: the toxic white conservative straight PTA attending male terrorist

(btw, where were their AR’s)

Regardless the authenticity of this report...

...does anyone else remember the last time the police preemptively arrested ANTIFA for 'conspiracy to riot'? ANYWHERE???
