My new book tells the story of what happened the last time an American president attempted to pack the Supreme Court.
It had lasting consequences even though it didn't pass in the Senate.
It ended up bullying, intimidating and threatening the Supreme Court to the point that the Supreme Court changed its interpretation of the Constitution

Mike Lee seems to be an honest and earnest person, but he does not excite or intrigue. It should not matter, but it does. Communication is more efficient when you know how to grab and hold somebody’s attention.
His friend and college Ted Cruz is more at ease with the Retail Politics side of public service. And there are a lot of people who who say Ted rubs them the wrong way. His brand of Nerd Humor and overly guilded put-downs can quickly become annoying.
He is up for re-election...
What is the alternative ? If not Mike Lee Utah will send another RINO like Romney who is even worse.

There’s an op Ed in the NY Post today on court-packing by Lee (it may be an excerpt from his book) and it’s very good, very worth reading.
