This gives Pussy Riot new meaning.
A man discovered a lonely kitten on the side of the road — only to have a pack of tiny cats emerge from the brush.
In a now-viral clip, the lone baby feline meows at the man where the grass meets gravel — but in the next minute, Louisiana’s Robert Brantley is ambushed by a stampede of meowing kittens.
“Oh, my gosh!” he exclaims in the video, which shows a seemingly never-ending kitten rampage. “I can’t take ya’ll. Oh, my gosh.”
One by one, the little kitties sprang from the tall grass that towered over their small bodies, running in circles around his feet.
“There’s more — we got a kitten problem,” Brantley says in the video, clearly shocked. “I thought I was saving one. Hot diggity dog.”
The 37-year-old Brantley was driving along and just happened to see what he thought was a kitten on the side of the road. After he continued on, he let the thought of the cat “marinate,” eventually deciding to turn around and rescue it before the rest of the pack suddenly surprised him.
“They’re all here at the house; they’re all doing good,” he told The Post of all 13 kittens he discovered. “The first time I fed them, they fought like they had never eaten a bite of food before.”
He speculated that someone probably had these kittens in their house and threw them out since he couldn’t find their mama.
While he can’t keep the entire baker’s dozen, he plans to keep at least two or three for his family, including one kitten on which his 1-year-old son fixated.
“They’re obsessed with each other,” he said. As far as the rest, gracious neighbors have offered to adopt them.

Thanks for the ad-less link, BB! ;-)
There ARE poems about cheese:
The Moon is Made of Green Cheese
(A Love Poem, by Alexander Nderitu)
“The moon is made of green cheese,
The star of ‘Titanic’ was John Cleese,
Canada is slightly smaller than Greece,
Corn is closely related to black-eyed peas,
Honey comes from birds, not bees,
Elephants sometimes climb trees,
Lawrence of Arabia roamed the high seas,
Top lawyers don’t charge high fees,
World War Two didn’t disturb the peace
And Susan loves me.”
**********************************************
( didn’t say it was a good poem...but maybe a comment on the absurdity of life :-)
Happened to me once. A feral kitten popped out at an abandoned piece of property I was checking out.
It was meowing really loudly, and I thought it was hungry, so I tried to feed it some ham lunch meat.
It was more interested in being pals with me, and less in the ham. Even after several tries.
So, I couldn't just leave it, like I was going to do.
If it had been stand-offish, there it would have stayed, with lunch and dinner for a day.
It’s the old bait the sucker with one lost kitty trick.
I’m glad he’s finding homes for them.
Feral kitty was probably well-fed on little rodents already.
He/She just knew a likely sucker when it wandered by, and the prospect of endless free room and board.
So cute!!!
Thanks for posting
I hear it was a clowder of cats?

That’s why their so josh darn cute at that age. I believe d they grommed upto our innate loved of big eyed babies and programed us to find them resistable.
Reminds me of “Little Green Apples”
Then all I’ve gotta say (gotta say)
Is God didn’t make little green apples
And it don’t rain in Indianapolis in the summertime
There’s no such thing as Dr. Seuss
No Disneyland, Mother Goose, there’s no nursery rhyme
. . .
Then all I’ve gotta say (gotta say)
Is God didn’t make little green apples
And it don’t snow in Minneapolis when the winter comes
There’s no such thing as make-believe
No puppy dogs and no autumn leaves and no BB guns (no, no)
I’ve always liked that song :-)
(And it makes a lot more sense than the ‘Blue cheese’ poem!)
They just live in hope of becoming big enough to eat us.
Just kidding:

Thanks for posting the poem. I know an English major I will share it with.
Kitties in water?
One of my favorite commercials...LOL!~
I may be losing my mind. I actually clicked on a cat video. Luckily I came to my senses before it loaded.
Awww...
That was cute. And funny.
My first thought is that they must have been HUNGRY living on their own like that. Poor kittays!
Alls well that ends well.
