The top Ukrainian official who was fired for spreading misinformation has admitted that she lied about Russians committing mass rape in order to convince western countries to send more weapons to Ukraine.
Lyudmila Denisova, the former Ukrainian Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights, was removed from her position following a vote of no confidence in the Ukrainian parliament which passed by a margin of 234-to-9.
Parliament member Pavlo Frolov specifically accused Denisova of pushing misinformation that “only harmed Ukraine” in relation to “the numerous details of ‘unnatural sexual offenses’ and child sexual abuses in the occupied territories, which were unsupported by evidence.”
In an interview published by a Ukrainian news outlet, Denisova admitted that her falsehoods had achieved their intended goal.

Every day I wake up more cynical and sarcastic than the last. I’m in a beet red state, bible country, and although I’ve yet to meet a single individual who has the slightest idea what Minsk I or Minsk II is they, inexplicably, are firmly in the Zelensky camp.

I think it takes an even broader brush to argue that men and women are the same and interchangeable. They aren’t, and I don’t believe that there is a government in the world, today, that was structured around women.
Here's an idea that really works. Be a contrarian. Whatever Liz says we should do, do the opposite.
We have zero national interest in Ukraine. Let's stop spending ourselves deeper into inflation. Let Europe deal with this one.

I didn’t believe any of the anti-Russia propaganda stories when they were published simply because they were published too fast, too soon, one atrocity after another, almost as if some propaganda machine was cranking them out to make a political point. It’s called having a gut feeling about the total picture.
All of them, of course.
But, but, but people right here on FR assured me this was 100% true, and when I questioned the validity of it, I was called a Putinista.

Really? Please provide evidence...something other than just asserting the “Russians lie”. I haven’t seen Russian stories comparable to the rape hoax, the Ghost of Kiev hoax, the Snake Island hoax, the Miss Ukraine hoax, the Bucha hoax, the “no neoNazis in the AFU” lie, the “evacuation” of Mariupol hoax, or the general lying about the wildly successful battlefield performance of the AFU, to name a few. Your sources appear to be promoters of the MSM/neocon narrative. Independent reporting from France, India, Switzerland, and crowdfunded sources have been far more accurate. I will agree that real time war reporting is often inaccurate on all sides, but the “Ukraine narrative” is a psyops operation. If Severodonetsk and the adjacent city fall, it’s probably game, set, and match for the Zelensky government. THE OBAMA/BIDEN governments and NATO are ultimately responsible for destroying Ukraine.

I’m willing to accept our funding of Ukrainian resistance to some degree.
