Scientists analysed melanoma diagnosis rates among adults who ate the equivalent of 300g of any type of fish each week, including battered cod. They were compared against participants who consumed much less. Some even ate none.
Results showed people who adhered official advice, which states a healthy diet includes at least two portions of fish a week, were up to a fifth more likely to get the cancer.
Meanwhile, a separate US study found men consuming more than 430g of dairy per day — the equivalent of two cups of milk — are 25 per cent more likely to suffer prostate cancer than those who have less than 20g.
Britons are advised to consume three portions of dairy per day, with one portion being a glass of semi-skimmed milk, a pot of yoghurt or a 30g piece of cheese.
The researchers said hormones naturally present in milk may be to blame.

They’re just pimping Vegan food. Same as usual.
The lunacy never ends. I drink lots of coffee and eat a can of stewed tomatoes every day. Helps the prostate.
>70% of people who have died in the past year ate a tomato or tomato containing food at some point in the past 5 years. 100% of people who have died have breathed oxygen.
People who eat fish more than 2 times per week live in coastal areas where sun overexposure is most prevalent.
Do fish self-identify as vegan food?
It’s possible now that bees self-identify as fish.
Well. I won’t get melanoma, and my prostate will be the size of Milwaukee.
Oh well.
I know a woman who smells like a carp. She’s probably been eating too much tainted tuna.
I was thinking along similar lines. People who love fish might tend to fish more, being outside.
Or is the study controlled for that?
Baa-ram-ewe!
(That’ll do pig....)
Whatever..
You gotta die of something. I eat fish at least 4 or 5 times a week...fish and chips with a big side of green salad is a favorite (the Scottish make the best). Ate fish sandwiches for as long as I can remember.
This reminds me of my yoga instructor’s story. Her mom, a black woman from rural Mississippi, ate pork all the time. They raised and slaughtered their own hogs as they have done for hundreds of years.
Then at the age of 90 the doctor told her she had to give up bacon and pork because of high cholesterol. She went without for two weeks, then decided she would rather die happy than die “healthy”. Back to the pork.
She lived until she was 98.
Bugs. That’s the answer.
“Eat Recycled Food. It’s good for the environment and ok for you!”
That’s why I drink bourbon and eat steak. 😉
More Fauci “science.”
I guess all the Eskimos have melanoma.
Doctors are certainly a necessity, but on telling us what to eat and drink, for the most part, they don’t know…
I like baked cod over breaded, and will continue to eat it as much as I want.
I will drink a gallon of milk a day, if I could. I love milk. I’m lactose intolerant, so I buy the lactose free stuff, whole, NOT skimmed or fat free. It’s just not the same. I’m almost 68, I’ve made it this far with God’s help (and the doctors!)
No reason to change.🙂
“Britons are advised to consume...”
Cram it, eggheads.
