Ukraine’s in trouble! Russia must be beaten back!
(Excerpt) Read more at twitter.com ...
You do not know the facts.
Putin will be whatever he needs to be to satisfy the three ruling families, and those families do not need Marxist ideology to maintain ironclad control of Russia.
If think Russia is going to put with us and west starting insurgencies in what is left of Ukraine, you're nuts.
Russia controls the air and will control the entire Black Seas and it won't tolerate it.
It's time to get back to American First policy and stop looking for a fight with Russia. It's our foreign under Obama and Biden that is solely responsible for this war.
> Please tell us specifically what Putin has done that makes him a war criminal? <
He crossed an international border, and started a “preventative” war. By the way, George W. Bush did the exact same thing with Iraq. George W. Bush is a war criminal, too.
< Methinks you are spending too much time on CNN. <
Ha! I cut the cable about seven years ago. I don’t miss it one bit. To be honest, I get most of my news from Free Republic these days. There are lots of different, yet conservative perspectives here.
I agree. Getting ourselves entangled in this only prolongs the end and, worse, may very well escalate the overall world state of disarray to a level from which we may not be able to return. I don’t give a damn what Mark Levin wants.
India bought some M777 towed 155mm Howitzers. They ran $5Million each.....
Is Ukraine more or less valuable to Russia?
Consider that the reason the country is so corrupted is because “like a bank” that was a place of rich money.
Surprisingly enough, I agree with most of your post. I think Putin is a war criminal. You do not. But other than that, everything you said makes sense.
I suppose that at the core, our disagreement comes from this one question: Was there enough of a provocation for Russia to invade? I say no. You say yes.
If he’s winning against the Ukraine military, who are the forces of the people of Ukraine, why should he fear the people of Ukraine themselves?
Lenins body is still on display in Moscow, the Russians hold Soviet throwback parades every year, outside Moscow and Saint Petersburg it still looks like the USSR, and your friends are hanging up Soviet flags and restoring Lenin statues in occupied Ukraine.
I am 100% AGAINST direct US intervention. Not my children, not my grand children.
If Zelensky weren’t such a money grabbing despot he’d be working for a settlement where Russia doesn’t take ALL of the Ukraine (which it really doesn’t want). But, no, he’s out there begging, cajoling, shaming and blaming the rest of the free world for not saving him like he wants.
To all,
I have been watching this on Amazon Prime.
The history of Eastern Europe.

FAR more complex than I ever thought.
There are NO easy solutions and sending weapons to Ukraine is not one of them.
I suspect Russia's losses are a lot less than most believe, and that those of Ukraine and its Western suppliers will prove to be far greater. Here's why...
Standard military doctrine calls for an attacking force that is three times the strength of the defender. Russia was capable of crushing Ukraine with overwhelming power, but it chose to apply a very limited force that was outnumbered 3:1 by the Ukrainian Army - a clear indication that Russia never intended to take all of Ukraine. In three months, this smaller force has managed to:
- fix the Ukrainian Army along a long eastern front;
- divert Ukranian reserve forces to the north in a feint against its capital city, which was never attacked;
- draw other Ukrainian reserves to southwest to block Russian advances from Crimea; and
- wage a two month air and missle campaign to destroy Ukraine's air force, cripple its military logistics and transport capabilities, and isolate the bulk of Ukraine's combat power in the east.
Now Russia is waging a devastating artillery war that is chewing up the increasingly demoralized Ukrainian Army. Time is on Russia's side, which explains the growing panic in Kiev, Berlin and Washington.
Poland is mobilizing its army to seize the remainder of its historic territory of Galicia (which includes the present Ukrainian oblasts of Lviv, Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk) as soon as the Ukrainian Army collapses. Most people have forgotten that Poland and Ukraine fought a war over Galicia back in 1918-1919, but Warsaw never forgot. Ukraine will emerge from this war landlocked and much smaller.
Levin is a grifting neocon and his fetish are f Forever War.
All of the pathologies of Europe are showing up here in America thanks to our long term engagement with NATO and the UN. Lie down with dogs, get up with fleas.
“Lenins body is still on display in Moscow, the Russians hold Soviet throwback parades every year, outside Moscow and Saint Petersburg it still looks like the USSR, and your friends are hanging up Soviet flags and restoring Lenin statues in occupied Ukraine.”
Still doesn’t provide a link to their ambitions, just the past. By that logic I guess one can claim that the people and government with Confederate Flags want to bring back slavery, by that standard.
I said it was a logical deduction based on his statement and 20 years worth of subsequent actions.
I never claimed the US had a moral high ground
I do not wish to live in a communist dictatorship
“I’m not a big fan of Communists winning. Putin happens to be a Communist, trying to restore the Soviet Union.”
This is the ENTIRE post that I responded to. Where, in this post do you state it was a ‘logical deduction’ as you now claim, or otherwise not state it as a fact as to what Putin intentions are?
Hint: It’s best to quit while you’re behind.
No, you would need a recent governor of one of those states to on record saying that the failure of the South to secede from the Union was a geopolitical tragedy.
“If he’s winning against the Ukraine military, who are the forces of the people of Ukraine, why should he fear the people of Ukraine themselves?”
It’s never fun to rule over hostile people and it is costly. It will only be done if the West wants this war to end in Kiev.
“Poland is mobilizing its army to seize the remainder of its historic territory of Galicia (which includes the present Ukrainian oblasts of Lviv, Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk) as soon as the Ukrainian Army collapses. Thanks, and that explains Poland’s warmongering - they simply want some of the spoils when this ends!
