“Your post is a good one.
“Trump was a shining exception to all that. It is a great loss to the United States and to the world that he was forced out of office.”

Thanks for the comment!

I think we agree more than we disagree. The political class and deep state tried to do to Trump what they achieved with Nixon. And, they used the same tactics.

Here is food for thought. One reason I support Putin is that he is a strong, smart, and calculating leader. While he is no saint, saints don’t achieve leadership roles without breaking a few eggs. Trump is a perfect example. As best I can tell the Russian people are smart people who want to live their lives — just like you and me. Putin knows that the west is out to destroy him and his country and he simply chose the best time to deal with it (as opposed to letting someone else decide).

There is another more significant issue, though. My guess is you and I will agree on this one.

We both know that with the beginning of the Clinton era and going forward our nation has become more and more corrupt and disjointed. Much like cancer, it spreads and grows — now almost exponentially.

The effect for you and me is we are being forced by a few oligarchs in Washington, DC to slowly give up our freedoms. This is done through fiat, social engineering, and most significantly out-and-out indoctrination and propaganda. This is especially true with our most valuable resource — our children.

There is not much in the end you or I can do against such power. We tried that about 160 years ago and it didn’t work out too well. Yes, we can vote. But, the factors defined in that last paragraph have taken hold now and our vote and voices are being silenced (January 6th, Trump attacks, alternate lifestyles being crammed down our throat, etc.). The crazy social changes do nothing but satisfy a few at the expense of the many. More importantly, they make us much weaker as a nation (think Milley and the woke military).

While our views and in many cases our rights are being trampled there is not much we can do about it. We are forced to take it because we are one against the mighty.

Now it is an entirely different story when our ideological and illogical imbeciles, who are called our leaders go up against anything like another power. They seem to think they can steamroll over them and get away with it — just as they do us. They clearly have tried every way but putting boots on the ground (or at least acknowledged boots)against Russia. Fifty billion dollars pledged in dollars and military equipment placed into Ukraine has not made a difference. Contrary to the fairytale lies we are told, the Russkies are winning and have been almost from the beginning. They will win in the end — short of a nuclear war. Then we both lose.

So, my point is that hopefully this will knock our so-called leaders down a notch or two and disclose the many bold lies we have to swallow. Just like the lies, we as citizens have been told for many, many years all while losing our freedoms and having our traditional lifestyles blown apart. In the end, when Russia takes over the part of Ukraine they want and has driven out the brutal Azov Nazis maybe more of our country will see the sham that has been perpetrated on us and will be wise enough to make a change — like Trump or Desantis. You and I will benefit.

I sure hope I’m right.
