Americans can’t afford to buy a used car or even gas because the Left doesn’t want them to drive. They can’t buy homes because the Left wants to destroy the suburbs and force everyone to live in megacities. They have trouble buying meat because the Left wants them to eat soy.
The same is true for the whole exercise in planned economic misery that we’re experiencing.
Take Hoover's "A chicken in every pot and a car in every garage" and reverse it. That's the goal. What we’re living through is not an unintentional accident: it’s the American Holodomor.
The Left doesn’t want you to be able to drive, buy a home, or enjoy a burger.
Naive Republicans will say that, “Biden is not paying enough attention to the border” or “Biden is not paying enough attention to inflation”.
That’s like saying Jack the Ripper wasn’t paying enough attention to cutting up prostitutes…

Okay I “get” the jist of this article: The Left is going to force us out of our cars, homes, and suburbs by making them too expensive for the average American to afford.
But this raises the obvious question the article made no attempt to address, which is:
How does the Left plan on staying in power after pissing everyone off?
You don’t win elections that way- and the scale of necessary cheating would be obvious to any Mr. And Mrs. Six-Pack, who robotically vote Democrat.
They are out to establish a "Socialist Utopia," with Duke, Count, Earl and Baron as their preferred pronouns. And, Barak the 1st as their king.
He is using poor Joe as cover, with his old staff as go-betweens.
You are still assuming they plan to work within a Constitutional boundary, that protects private property. Try again. The dim ones, are already beating the drum for confiscation of houses, "for the homeless." I recall the rationale as "Property is theft."

A nice little war would be the classic method for distracting the population. A series of nasty terrorist incidents with high body counts would be another method to justify harsh police measures against political dissidents, all in the name of "public safety".

The Democrats don't need to win elections. They already control the counting of the "votes" at a national level. The "elections" will turn out with whatever numbers they want.
They did it in 2020 and nobody stopped them. Nothing has effectively changed since then. They have every reason to believe they can steal the "elections" in 2022 and forever afterwards.
They don't care how obvious it looks.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe sixpack will be broke, unable to make their rent, and unable to afford groceries. They won't care if the Democrats cheat the elections as long as they get promises of some Government money to keep them afloat.
And when they find they do not qualify for the new Government benefit programs (wrong race or ethnic group) they had better keep their mouths shut, lest they be shipped off to the new "Economic Recovery and Retraining Camps".

Robert Barnes: The biggest loser in this Russian Ukraine conflict has been the globalist visions of George Soros and his like crowd. Because a lot things aren’t...global digital currency ain’t coming any time soon. Global WHO control over pandemics they can try as much as they want legally, politically probably ain’t coming any time soon and this is all because they misread Vladimir Putin and Russia frankly. That’s what it boils down to.
Alexander: Going back to globalization and the issue of globalization I saw that there was a whole group of business leaders who came along to Davos WEF and all that “World Economic forum”...I’ll never forget that is what it calls itself and globalization in a way was conceived there back in the 60s. Anyway a lot of business leaders came along and they said globalization is dead. It’s just been killed. You yourselves killed it. Your sanctions in fact destroyed it because what they did is they created this new structure, these new systems and in fact I was reading again in the Telegraph somebody actually saying at Davos now that we have all these countries around the world they’re saying, “well if you pose sanctions like that on the Russians you can do the same to us so we are all now working to find alternative routes.”
So globalization is finished and Vladimir Putin he played his role and it was a big one. But, the bizarre thing about this is that the initiative to do all this thing that brought the temple down, if you like on everybody’s head, the temple of globalization crashing down, it was done by the very advocates of globalization themselves because they misread the Russian economy...they weren’t listening to Robert Barnes who could have pointed out to them the Russians have all the oil and energy and food so they will be all right. They can survive the siege. They didn’t listen, they went ahead. They thought that this “one dimensional economy the size of Paraguay” or whatever it is that they say would come crashing down like a house of cards. And now they’ve discovered they were completely wrong and what is crashing down like a house of cards is the whole structure of globalization that they spent the last 70 years creating.
And as I say it is one of the great paradoxes and ironies of history that they have done it themselves to themselves.
