The mother of a Texas school shooting victim was told by first responders that her daughter may have survived the massacre if authorities had acted quicker.
The fourth-grader, who was among the 19 students killed at Robb Elementary in Uvalde on Tuesday, bled to death after being shot in her kidney.
'Her child had been shot by one bullet through the back through the kidney area,' State Sen. Ronald Gutierrez told CNN Sunday morning. 'The first responder that they eventually talked to said that their child likely bled out. In that span of 30 or 40 minutes extra, that little girl might have lived.'
The Democrat argued that 'many things went wrong' when local police responded to the massacre and said he was 'disgusted' by law enforcement's failure to take action.
Police admitted Thursday that officers didn't immediately rush into the school to find gunman Salvador Ramos, 18, during Tuesday's attack because they feared they might be killed, and even suggested that they deliberately locked Ramos in the classroom where he slaughtered 21 people in order to trap him.

And the correct answer from the first responder is I don’t know
I agree. Texas has the resources to investigate. This is not a Federal issue.
I visited my son who lives in a third world country. We were at a national festival, and I commented at the large number of police present. He replied “at three dollars a day they aren’t going to take a bullet for you.” We now live in a third world country.
The DOJ..... LOL....... Justice no more. All political, and deep state.
1940 -
First responders do not have to know that.
TCCC is a 16 hour course and I got it on the first try.
But the key here is to actually respond.
Not standing in the hall, not looking through a window.
A full staff trama team could have been standing in the hall and that would do ZERO good.
.
Lessons from 2020 - police don’t protect and serve. They follow the orders of their corporate masters.
The Ranger’s will be involved. You probably won’t hear about it.
Semantics.
A Democrat going after the law enforcement people.
The law enforcement people didn’t react quickly enough.
Teachers knowingly propped open an outside door that was to be closed and locked.
The doors to the classroom were open.
They were probably opened by teachers.
The teachers certainly knew they were to be closed.
Everyone can play “What if?” concerning the law enforcement response.
There is no question of “What if?” with the teachers and the doors.
They were open and the murderer gained easy access to the children.
Why aren’t the Democrats yelling about the negligence of the teachers?
I was just sent this by Freepmail.
Police need to held accountable to #8.
“(8) willfully fails to do his utmost to encounter, engage, capture, or destroy any enemy troops, combatants, vessels, aircraft, or any other thing, which it is his duty so to encounter, engage, capture, or destroy;”

(3) through disobedience, neglect, or intentional misconduct endangers the safety of any such command, unit, place, or military property;
(4) casts away his arms or ammunition;
(5) is guilty of cowardly conduct;
(6) quits his place of duty to plunder or pillage;
(7) causes false alarms in any command, unit, or place under control of the armed forces;
(8) willfully fails to do his utmost to encounter, engage, capture, or destroy any enemy troops, combatants, vessels, aircraft, or any other thing, which it is his duty so to encounter, engage, capture, or destroy; or

(Aug. 10, 1956, ch. 1041, 70A Stat. 69.)
They got their body count. That’s what matters.
Reflexive defense of the 'police' in spite of clear dereliction of duty and verifiable cowardice, is also more important than facts, especially on FR.
yup. the DOJ is corrupt and can’t be trusted with anything.
“Why aren’t the Democrats yelling about the negligence of the teachers?”
Because “Education” needs more money...
“The Ranger’s will be involved. You probably won’t hear about it.”
I sure hope the Rangers are involved. They are generally no-nonsense. Whether or not I hear about it is immaterial.
There's absolutely no reason for the DOJ to come to Texas just to kick dirt in the faces of the grieving parents once again.

First responders are people who have probably seen more injured people than those criticizing. And by experience have observed the likely outcome of many types of injuries.
How many times have we read of the police leaving an injured person bleed out PREVENTING EMS access while police “secure the scene”.
As a point of interest Uvalde seems to have a larger police force than expected for a small town.
It was initially reported that the feds ordered the standdown. Only later was it claimed this came from the local police chief. Who knows which is true. Is the DoJ taking over because they have something to hide and want to craft a false narrative?
