The irony lost here as usual is that they are taking enormous heat from the left
Arguably more so than from 1/6 and Rittenhouse angst

Hard needle to thread

Should have stayed solid on the right

I know personally Hafer is not a serious righty but I’m not sure why....Best his number two is more in line with what Freepers think is right wing although with other currents events causing a schism here these days on the forum it’s arguable who’s conservative or not even here anymore

Hafer is also a Jewish American green beret combat vet from both WOT theatres which is pretty rare for the tribe and deserves credit for that ....at least to me

It’d be like me being a Catholic scholar

But he’s no Alt right that’s for sure like most here (who deny it....I don’t )

I think he got pushed by the firm ...Silver Box?....who pushed the SPAC offering .....for him to be more PC in his comments or he had a tin ear to his loyalists or he’s part red diaper baby on culture ....who knows

It was a grievous error in any event

Plus they are under a lot of investigation now for overvaluing and workplace claims which are coming from the left

A pickle

One note is the current market correction is also contributing

No question they’ve lost much of their base and I told the folks I know there as much when Hafer misspoke twice ....they believe me now

We don’t drink coffee, but I never thought mail order coffee was a good business strategy in the long run.

Black Rifle has an affinity marketing plan, once you piss off that affinity group, it’s all over.

Visited that Starbucks in July 1996 on a trip to the Pacific NW with the soon to be Mrs. One Guy.

Was surprised and pleased to see first hand that “Spoon Man” was performing that day in the street just outside the store.

While in Seattle, also watched the Yankees beat the Mariners on the way toward their big World Series win that year. Met Lou Pinella before leaving the stadium and bumped into Jimmy Key at a restaurant after the game. He was with his pretty fiancé at the time— I remember her being so impressed that Yankee fans would cross the country to see the team play. The two ended up getting hitched during the All-Star break the next year (second marriage for Key). To do that he had to turn down an All Star Game roster spot offer by AL manager Joe Torre.

While meandering our way toward Victoria BC and Vancouver we took a side trip to the Straits of Juan de Fuca where we were lucky enough to kayak directly over the path of a transiting pod of killer whales.

Looks like an infomercial so he can sell his own brand of coffee.

Fantastic news! We must destroy all woke companies even if that meams destroying 75% or more of the companies out there.

Sigh. I stopped seeking them out after that. I like their chicken sandwiches, but I hated hearing them back down.

Chik-fil-A was in a vulnerable situation. They have thousands of locations which could be attacked by BLM and Antifa, and he had to think about the safety of his employees.

I can’t get to the shopping section; held-up by the donation page. I just want to see what they have.

All businesses should stay out of politics.

Absolutely. No matter what your opinion on politics is, it is guaranteed to piss off at least some potential customers. It's just not worth it.

I can see where that would be a factor, but that is a calculus that will never work out in the end, IMO.

It is like appeasement, hoping the crocodile will eat you last, but in the end, you always get eaten, and eaten without any remnant of your dignity and self respect.

Like the stores that thought they would be protected by putting up Black Lives Matter signs in their windows and such-they still got burned and looted.

I know. If someone wants to pose in order to sell, well, power to them, that tactic is as old as selling. One could imagine someone in a Roman street market posing as a Roman Populist to sell to Roman Populists.

But to pose and then crap on those Roman Populists you are posing to attract? Well, that is just downright stupid. Might as well burn your money in a fire.

I did say “might” have been misquoted, because I believe the whole thing stemmed from a New York Times interview (and we all know the inherent danger of jumping into bed with them to publicize anything, especially as a conservative) and they should be trusted as much as a rattlesnake in your pocket.

The founder/owner donated to Obama and Gabbard. They threw Rittenhouse under the bus. Plus their coffee is shit.
