AUSTIN (KXAN) — A two-year-old Texas boy has already mastered the art of ordering food from a phone — complete with tipping his driver.
Barrett Golden, a Kingsville boy, ordered a whopping 31 McDonald’s cheeseburgers using his mom’s DoorDash app, according to a Facebook post from his mom, Kelsey.

Handing a phone to a toddler *smh*
Living in the USA, baby!
L
I saw a toddler the other day pitch a screaming fit at Target....he wanted mom’s phone. She gave it to him and he started tapping away. Gave me the creeps.

Niche for some enterprising person/company. Fake phones for
children that appear to operate with some windows/etc on them.

And look at the photo of that mom. Smiling at the kiddo in the photo, Paid for the cheeseburgers and didn’t try to weasel out of it as a mistake. Called neighbors to come get a cheeseburger. Good mom.
I remember when the “terrible twos” just meant temper tantrums and not financial ruin.
Sceptic here
I doubt it
Mom is creating a credential to get the kid in her preferred kindergarten
This is nothing. When I was teaching in the ‘hood....
Across from my classroom, were 2 separate classrooms for autistic kids; B4 they *mainstreamed* the students; One group was K-3; other older kids 4-6.
In the *older* group, was a very handsome, nice, cooperative boy, Jamal. His dad was very involved with his education; a rarity in the ‘hood. Jamal had never spoken a word in his little life; he was about 11 y/o at the time.
My first-born was volunteering in the computer lab, next door, to put ‘puters working again. He brought a MS *Magic Schoolbus* program, and loaded it for the SE classes. Jamal was hooked on it.
One morning, Jamal saw my son in the hallway and ran into his arms and said to him *Magic Schoolbus*!!! His first words. We were all astonished. Floored, to put it mildly.
His teacher, as part of the the morning exercises, would review the day of the week, weather, calendar w/ important dates...yada. Then she would take get the kids to talk about the upcoming dates.
Through Jamal’s father, the teacher had learned he was going [allbeit alone] to Jamaica, to visit his ailing mother on a day in November. Teacher put Jamal’s dad’s travel dates on the calendar of upcoming *events*. This date was cemented into his little brain.
Well, it turns out Jamal used his new-found language and computer skills to book a flight and hotel for himself, on the exact dates and times his father had planned.
Jamal took a credit card from his dad’s wallet. Dad found out when he saw the charges on his bill. LOL
This little tale from the world of autism will always stay with me.
Just a little tip...
The cheeseburgers freeze well...
Pull them out of the freezer, and drop them into the deep fryer...
Yummy
Sears was the Amazon before Amazon. But they abandoned the catalog. No vision.
And right before the internet took off. Doh!
We would give our babies the car keys to entertain them. That probably wasn’t the smartest either - but they never lost them. (We never broke down for their screaming fits however. Left several carts at the various stores before they figured it out.)
Color me very skeptical that a two year old could do this.

You are hereby colored.
The nice lady from Pasadena talked to us for a good 10 or 15 minutes before she finally begged off. My friend's parents were none too happy about the long distance bill! Back then it wasn't cheap to make non-local calls - it would cost about an hour's wage just to talk to someone in the next county for 3 minutes.
Thank you, when do I start getting my free stuff?
“according to the mom”...right.
Lol. You are gonna have to check in with the Dems for those privileges.
Heh, Steve Miller reference
Excellent
