A couple of years ago if somebody told you that in May of 2022 two of the people most angering the Left in the U.S. would be Elon Musk and Bill Maher you might have thought they were crazy, but that is now the case:

A few months ago Bill Maher explained on his HBO show how the Democrats lost their way (and minds), and his comments about trans kids are going to anger the Left even more than that:

Maher’s comments are bringing with them plenty of screaming and name-calling from the Left but not much in the way of why he’s wrong.
With the Left's shift to more extreme views, Maher is finding himself more in the new middle.

I’ve been saying much the same to friends, family and acquaintances for over a year. This isn’t a natural phenomenon. It’s a fashion trend.
I had forgotten about that until you made this comment. As I recall, it was a daycare in California and the owner and staff went to prison.

Funny thing is, Maher hasn't moved at all. He's the same person with the same positions he had 20+ years ago.
There’s always an element of “you can’t say that” in good comedy. Maher has struck the motherlode without even trying.
Yes, he did. He didn’t want to take things “this far”, but he and other liberals pushed things in this direction. Once the ball starts rolling it doesn’t exactly just stop at a certain point.
That’s an impressive list. Someone is doing some homework.

He went along for the ride made sure the tires were filled up, and now he wants off the bus? He can ESAD for all I care.
That's because people on the left don't 'debate' ideas - they name-call, shun, cancel, bully, riot and destroy.
Maher's right on this - the 'trans kink' is not happening in these numbers in working class neighborhoods in Ohio.

I regret Maher doesn't have children - he would have been a wonderful father.

Not normal for Bill Maher. He used to make sense occasionally. Now it is becoming more frequent.
